The Kiwi Farms was targeted with a historic DDoS attack last week. Confirmed reports of 2.8Tbps on an individual provider, topping 4.8Tbps when known volumes are added together, and possibly up to 8Tbps if the attacker is believed. This is the third of fourth largest recorded.

If MS wasn’t being jeeted into the ground like all the other big US tech companies they would have either gotten rid of Series S by now or, better yet, never even made it. It’s more hassle for devs since they have to make sure their games can tolerate its specs and it’s a plague in secondhand sales because of all the people that bought it, found it was weaker and had 512GB of storage and so they flip it on ebay to buy a PS5. Having one unified system to work off of first worked before and yet they thought making the S model a weaker stream box instead of an inevitable hardware shrink refresh was a great idea.
Has that really been that big of a deal? The S is about equivalent to the One X, and devs have been more than happy to drag their feet in dropping support for the previous gen, first party studios included. I know Remedy pissed and moaned, but Alan Wake 2 is probably the least optimized game that wasn't coded by shit-caked hands.
This is the guy who's entire personality has been tied to the Xbox brand for the past 20 years. If he is ready to jump ship they are fucked as far as I am concerned.
I have today consoomed an Xbox Rog Ally X. I haven't bought a new console since whenever the Xbox Series X came out and I'm on the road a lot so I decided just to go for it.
It's a snazzy bit of kit, comfy to hold, lighter than I thought and it runs really smoothly. I've not tried Steam yet but will give that a go. I know it runs on Windows but when you're using the Xbox features it doesn't feel like Windows which is good.

I'm still not entirely sure. I didn't think I was going to be able to play Ready or Not because it isn't on Game Pass but I can... I certainly didn't have to pay for it again.
There's a lot of historical revisionism going on right now pertaining to the Xbox One generation.
Despite the horrendous E3 reveal, the Xbox One for the first three years of the 8th gen was the console to own if you wanted high quality exclusive content :
Dead Rising 3
Sunset Overdrive
Forza Horizon 3
Killer Instinct
Rare Replay
Halo Master Chief collection
Meanwhile on the Sony side you had :
Killzone Shadow Fall ( so mid it killed the IP )
Knack ( trash )
The Order 1886 ( cinematic slop )
Bloodborne ( the only great PS4 exclusive )
Say what you want about Don Matrick but at least he knew the difference between a good game and a bad game, there were no Starfields, Red Falls or Tell Me Whys during his tenure at Xbox .
If I had to choose between them I would pick Matrick over Spencer any day of the week.
I’m wondering how well integrated that emulators are with the new Xbox features. Like does it integrate as well as my Steamdeck where I have them in my last played window
I love the original Xbox. Compared to games on the Gamecube and PlayStation 2, the games that were on Xbox were, most of the time, the best console to play on. However, I never liked the Xbox 360 or any future Xbox consoles. You shouldn't pay for online, and that was one of the best things about the PS3. Xbox hasn't recovered since their disasterous Xbox One launch.
So, I've recently talked about how IF I were to get a PS5 for something like Grand Theft Auto IV, I would be buying a refurbished one.
One of my friends was like "Why not get a refurbished Series X so that you can still have a blu ray player and also a machine to play all your old games?"
Huh, didn't really think of that. Then I go on Microsofts website and refurbished Series X's are 550 dollars.
What the fuck, Microsoft? You absolutely do not want me to buy a Series X under any circumstances, do you?
If you thought cat ears and neon purple hologram mohawks killed the halo vibe, you’re going to love the Sexyy Red collab in Halo: Unlimited.
They kind of already fucked up the “like fortnite” part because fortnite took a dead game and added a new gamemode for an emerging genre and turned it into a massive hit.
1 - panned by the public and considered one of the worst games of the series, maybe the worst.

Well I just found out that my dead by daylight account will transfer over to PC, so when Xbox finally completes shitting the bed at least I won't have to rebuy that DLC when I finally say fuck it and move to a gaming PC.

1 - Dead Rising 3 was the last good Dead Rising game, the franchise fell off a cliff with 4 and never recovered. Also it released first on Xbox ( November 2013 ), and was only ported nearly a year later to PC ( September 2014 )
2- It launched exclusively on Xbox One in 2014, only released four years later on Steam and hasn't been ported to any platform since.
3 - Only launched in Xbox One and PC, never released on Playstation/Nintendo/Android etc
4 - The Killer Instinct reboot ( 2013 ) was a launch title for Xbox One, it received critical acclaim when it released and has been played by millions of people ever since.
5 - Xbox exclusive to this day . Never released on anything else.
6 - Launched exclusively on Xbox in 2014, only came out later on Steam in 2019 and no other platform since.
At least you admit that you are deliberately trying to rewrite history, because you were wrong in every single one of your assertions was dead wrong.
