I'm not up to date with all dem web standards, but I wonder if WHATWG will be implementing the same API? Might be some fun drama about implementation if they do not agree. Will definitely keep an eye on ripple though, an official 'endorsement' by browser vendors would be huge indeed.

EDIT: Upon further reading it would seem like 'they'(?) are trying to create a protocol that will allow all the different blockchains to interoperate and use a common API. Not sure exactly how that would work though, but if I understand it correctly it would not be bound specifically to ripple. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Sorry Sir Null for the Horrifying rating on above post.. But holy shit! A business associate of mine was all about Ripple. I thought Ripple was one of the non-mine-able coins and that it was proof of stake (I'll go back and re-do my re-research) so I avoided it at first. I wonder if he took my arguments to heart and never ended up buying. In that case I bet he hates me a lot. Good thing it was anonymous and we'll never see eachother again. So his hatred can never be released towards the person that deserves it.

I'm 2x on XRP but I'm thinking of selling for SHIFT. Aside from genuinely not wanting XRP to succeed because it's kike money, I don't know how high it can actually go with it's outrageous market cap and dense centralization.
