While I love the threads were you beautiful kiwis discuss and make fun of (often obnoxious) critics and reviewers, I thought it'd be nice to have a thread for those who are actually doing a good job by being informative as well as entertaining, or simply not being total self entitled, narcissistic douchebags.

I could choose to talk about somebody who analyses actual pieces of art with meaningful cultural impact, but I'd rather go full manchild and speak of friggin' toy reviewers!

Thew Adams is not only a friendly British bear of a metalhead but also the go to guy for many of us craving some transformable plastic robot edutainment. While most other toy reviewers prefer techniques such as talking in a slow monotone vioce, breathing hardly into the microphone, pointing out obvious stuff that everyone can see or taking forever to transform the toy, thew makes sweet, short and to the point videos that are still packed with humor, awesome puns and some garbage yet charming Metal noise. Hell, even his skits are pretty hilarious:

So, do you guys have some reviewers you actuallly dig and care to share with the rest of us? Or are my little autistic ratings about to get some new room mates?

I kind of like Glass Reflection/ Arcada anime reviews mainly because he retains a sense of humour while being overall constructive. He's not perfect, but I like that he doesn't lose his shit in order to try to be funny.

One of the best reviewers period someone I recommend his star trek videos are well thought out and comes across as intelligent .

Mrente I kinda like the nostalgia critic and I sometimes watch zero punctuation. I used to watch a reviewer who reviewed Wii games named the Wiiviewer, but I stopped after he started not doing them so frequently.

I'm still fond of AVGN's older stuff. I even have a DVD of his 2006 episodes. Too bad, his recent stuff wasn't good as his past work. I enjoyed Plinkett's reviews since they blew TGWTG out of the park.

SomeCallMeJohnny and TheSuperGamingBros. usually have my attention when it comes to classic video game reviews worth listening to.

ShitcaseCinema and his tongue-and-cheek reviews for Z-Grade movies is also a wonderful distraction from my usually crappy way of living. I kind of wish Cinema Snob (funny as he can be), was this more on point, TBH.

BenTheSage with AnimeAbandon is alright, but then again, I just like seeing Bennett torture himself with anime no one needs to see nor care about. And as someone who hates most anime, anyway... That makes it almost even funnier for me.

GrumpyJiisan, an old man with a pleasant personality that reviews anime. It's a lot better than it sounds. I wish he did more media because I like his style.

EDIT: It's been 3 years since his last upload. I'm imagining the worst. (:_(

I used to be a huge fan of Sean Rankin, aka HappyViking. He was basically a metalhead that would review obscure bands that he thought deserved more attention. Compared to other online reviewers, his reviews were a lot more devoid of cringy gags and complex overarching storylines. He joined the TGWTG crew a while back, which resulted in his productivity taking a nosedive. Today, pretty much all he does is smoke weed and rant on Twitter.
