It would appear that Benedict Cumberbatch's character has managed to piss off the SJWs something fierce:

Obligatory Jezebel post: http://jezebel.com/zoolander-2-facing-boycott-due-to-accusations-of-transp-1744087675
Marginally saner Guardian article: http://www.theguardian.com/film/201...ansphobia-over-benedict-cumberbatch-character
Relatively balanced Independent article (with some fantastic reader comments, just for gigles) http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-e...r-prompts-call-for-film-boycott-a6743891.html
No post of this nature would be complete without the Perez Hilton 'journalism', complete with the obligatory 'problematic' declarations: http://perezhilton.com/2015-11-21-z...petition-protest-film-sarah-rose#.VlNt4_nhBaQ
And, of course, the "let's hug it all out (until you disagree, then you can burn, shitlord)" petition site that's hosting all this manufactured outrage: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/en-g...ive-representation-of-non-binary-individuals/

I'm willing to put 5 quid on the originator of this horseshit as being a tumblrina.

They only even care because it's Humperdinck Bandersnatch.

Also this:

Since the trailer’s release, a petition to boycott the film has garnered over 7,500 signatures.

Do these fucking morons even know what a boycott is? You don't fucking have a petition to boycott something, you just fucking boycott it.

Why would you even make a sequel to Zoolander. It was a one joke movie that worked well enough but you can't just do it again. It would be like making a sequel to Weekend at Bernies and nobody would be dumb... enough... to... oooohhhhh.

According to SJWS said:
By hiring a cis actor to play a non-binary individual in a clearly negative way, they film endorses harmful and dangerous perceptions of the queer community at large.
I dunno, but I sort of feel like all this bitching and moaning over shit like this, with all those buzzwords thrown in for good measure, is what makes me personally have a 'dangerous' perception of the 'queer community at large'.
I mean, hell yeah I perceive these wackjobs to be dangerous, look at them trying to censor every form of media they don't like! They're a danger to humor.

This is good advertising for the movie, before I didn't give a shit and now I need to see it. Gonna need booze for this stupidity.

They need to do something to post on facebook and twitter to show how socially conscious they are. They need to fill their daily asspat quota somehow.

Do you think voodoo will be added to this too?

One of their arguments against this is that it's essentially the same as blackface... because it's not like another Ben Stiller movie (Tropic Thunder) had blackface and I don't remember anyone throwing a shit fit then. Amazing what a difference seven years can make. *sigh*

People did throw a tiny shit fit, but most of the shit fit was about the "full retard" line, which partly as a result turned into a nice meme.
