This faggot is exactly the kind of person who needs to stay the fuck out of horror movies, he isn’t wanted. I stopped watching years back when he couldn’t seem to go through a single review without screeching about how misogynistic and lack of diversity horror movies are.

Even before his kill count of Freaky, I was considering unsubscribing from him because he would go into these pseudointellectual takes about how some horror films have "feminist messages" to them. For example, during his kill count of the 2019 remake of Black Christmas, he talked about how the 2017 movie Better Watch Out was a commentary on "tOXic mAsCulInitY" like bruh, it's a movie about a kid who inspires to be a serial killer and tries to kill his babysitter, stop trying to act like there's some hidden lore to horror movies, go back to drinking your soylent and getting pegged by your fiance who is most likely cheating on you.
Even when people are telling him to shut the fuck up about his politics and just talk about horror movies, he doesn't listen.
God I feel so vindicated for unsubbing from him; I would occasionally watch his Kill Count videos but I also watched him have his little podcast chats with his girlfriend/wife, and based on those I almost want to say him spewing wokeness is coming from being pussywhipped by her. She trashed a perfectly good film called The Love Witch on one of these podcasts for being misogynistic and he had nothing of value to add to the discussion, just agreed with everything she said. His Kill Count of Idle Hands was the final straw though; he went into a rambling, idiotic tangent about how the movie was gross for its handling of Jessica Alba’s character, but he talked about the movie with his girlfriend as well on one of their podcasts and how she couldn’t finish it (if I recall correctly) so I’m willing to bet he was just aping her opinions.
I remember the Idle Hands review. He also started whining about how homophobic the movie was because they said fag once.
James is also a massive hypocrite, he claims he and Chelsea couldn't go to Texas Frightmare because of the "dELTa vAriANt" but he encouraged his fans to go to a Candyman exhibit in Chicago.
Super late on this, but Marphy Black was the Postal 2 dev? Had no idea, only knew him for his (very autistic) knowledge on Half Life 1 + expansions.

Another thing I find ironic about James is that he said that he won't cover any of Roman Polanski's work for obvious reasons but loves actress Sigourney Weaver, a woman who tried to free Polanski when he was jailed in Switzerland.
