It sounds more like Phil lost it over a meme and said he was going to ban it, people saw it as an opportunity to troll him, and now he's trying to deflect blame onto the trolls for his initial unpopular decision.
This is also why he is giving suprcrzy the attention for this one - Phil only provides specifics and receipts when he thinks he will directly benefit from naming names.

And we might add a new meme: it's Doordash time! I love it! And he seriously wonders why he is considered the laughing stock of the Internet. Without the Internet he would most likely crumble to pieces in seconds because he had no one to flex on.

Yes I know that and I understand the meaning of the quote which is why it confuses me. In the context of the movie, to Bison ordering Chun Li's father's execution was just another atrocity he had committed, hence why he said "to me it was Tuesday." It was just business as usual to him. The guy on Twitter he replied to said that he saw Phil getting roasted on Twitter, Phil said that to him it was Tuesday, meaning that he's so used to getting roasted that the BK thing is just another thing he got roasted for in the grand scheme of his life.
Or to be more precise, it confuses me that he thinks that using that quote in that context made him look badass, while in fact it makes him look like a sissified little slave who is used to getting humiliated on the internet.
