I just don’t understand why she’s going to vacant lots and eating weeds.
Her area has to have some actual good edible plants in fields or woods or near creeks, but either that’s too high effort or scares her?
I live in the shithole Midwest and there’s still a local TikTok person that’s gotten recognition for all of the education and ingenious things you can do with foraging, and also goes into ethical foraging.

I’ve never gotten into it myself, but Staph should also probably learn how to forage without destroying plants long term.

One of the more common yet edible and not necessarily bad for you parking lot trash plants is purslane. Purslane will in fact thrive under absolute garbage conditions, and most average people overlook it. You can put it in salads etc. IIRC it's a little sour in flavor.

Knowing this dumbass, she'd ignore healthy purslane in favor of something poisonous, though.
