I don't know how it works over there, but here if there is some emergency that requires immediate payment, you can always explain the situation and pay couple of days later.
Let's say the water pipes in his home break and he needs to get it repaired immediatly. Do the workers leave you hanging until you pay them the full amount in front?
Couldn't he just write a check which wouldn't get cashed in before mondays anyway?

The proper rejoinder to “no, someone getting your bank details is a bfd” is not “lol his fault for living in America, also at least he’s not in jail for fucking his mom”. Relativism like that is foolish and pointless.

Also, as far as upfront payment for things like emergency house repairs it honestly does depend on the person or company you go with. A plumber might not ask for payment upfront because he won’t know what materials he might need or how much labor will be involved right away. If some dipshit whipped a brick through one of Phil’s windows, though, a glass guy will know precisely what to charge him and therefore would have no trouble asking for payment first.

It’s not ho-hum.

Forgive my ignorance, but I still don't see how this could seriously hurt him. I just don't see any kind of scenario where it would matter to him if he has access to his account on a Sunday or not (especially if there are only 150$ in it).

I mean, I get that it sucks for him that his account info is public now, but wasn't this already out in the open after the bankruptcy anyway?

No it doesn’t lol. What it proves is that Phil is actually broke and he is so lazy that he doesn’t change his lifestyle, get rid of his second internet like and business class internet, and still takes one day a week off. And instead of doing any of this to raise his income or alleviate costs, he begs oic for donations. I used to think Phil was rich and just trying to milk his whales dry before he “exit scams” at some point but if this is true that is even worse.

I wonder if there is going to be any legal ramifications against anyone for his bank stuff being leaked. He's been cracking down on the twitter and stream chat stuff lately.

Unless Dave lawyers up I kinda doubt it. He could report it but since nothing was taken it's gonna be pretty low on the priority list for any agency.

I wouldn't read too much in to his poordom. He earns an obscene amount of money which appears to be simply disappearing. Just take the $5k a month from YouTube. Where is that? Should easily be able to pay off everything with just that. Is it going to Jim, a drug dealer, the demon possessing Khet or are they making paper plates out of it?

He tried to hide PayPal accounts during the bankruptcy so I don't see why he would change. Hasn't changed anything in over a decade. Likely made a new account and hides it in there so when the next bankruptcy saga comes around he can lie again about being broke. Poor people don't order fast food or go out for meals. I haven't for almost 5 years now. Which, for some queer reason, seems to have made me healthier.

The best thing is: this has shown perfectly that DSP, and ONLY DSP, is to blame for his atrociously bad financial position. Structurally spending thousands of dollars on luxury products like restaurants, food delivery, cat toys, groceries from expensive supermarkets, alcohol and supposedly mobile games while pressuring people to give him money on a daily basis every chance he gets for YEARS on end... It's absolutely staggering.

So yeah, this is all completely on you, DSP. Not on fans, not on detractors, not on trolls, not on Twitch, not on Youtube. No, it's on you, and only you.

It's time you publicly come clean about your addictions and inability to handle money, and start seeking help. You desperately need it if you still want to make something of your life.
