"Current year" terms that piss you off

When someone says nuerodivergent it makes my fucking skin crawl. Just say autist or retard like any other person.
I find it slightly irritating when people use "autistic" and "retarded" synonymously, not because it's offensive but because it's inaccurate. I've known autistics where I've been like, "Yeah, call it what you want, but that dude is basically retarded," but I've also known autistics that are abnormally intelligent and further from being retarded than the average person. Much like psychopathy, autism ranges from extremely smart to extremely dumb. Retards only come in the extremely dumb variety, otherwise their disability would be called something else. However, we certainly don't need annoying euphemisms like "neurodivergent;" just clarification about the difference between a retard and a dumb autistic. I'm not accusing you of this, but if you're going to call an autistic a retard, do it because they're acting like one, not because you don't understand the difference between the two.

Whenever SJWs and their ilk make a big deal about "getting it." I've clarified to these types in past arguments that I do indeed understand what they're trying to tell me, but I disagree. At that point, they devolve into calling me a racist, sexist, homophobe, etc. So when they say "get it," they actually mean they want you to uncritically, unconditionally agree with them.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I've heard all the tranny gender "science." Their argument is rooted in anthropology rather than biology. Both are technically forms of science, but the former is a social science and the latter is a physical one. When there's a conflict between the two, I tend to go with the one that has physical evidence instead of just abstract thinking and emotional opinions. I'm still not convinced that a gay receiver in a dress is the same thing as a person born with a vagina. Apparently that makes me scientifically illiterate, despite being a big nerd who loves science and bases my beliefs regarding gender in biology. If you try to explain biology to them, they call you a homophobe because science.

These are the same idiots who say they love science and they're supposedly reality-based. Look behind the curtain and they're nothing but delusional ideologues.

"Astroturf" is starting to get up there for me. Most of the time it's used by people who really weren't paying attention to modern trends and chalk up their lack of exposure to astroturfing rather than them just not being exposed to it sooner. I can buy that certain trends, ideologies, and celebrities are having their popularity artificially inflated and that it's easy to do in the age of social media, but I see the term misused more often than not these days.
With the Critical Race Theory stuff being in the news, I showed my friend who supports CRT a YouTube video of a black mom in Loudon County, VA. In the video, she passionately shared why she was against CRT.

My friend was convinced that the lady was an astroturfer, as well as anyone else who's black and not a supporter of CRT.

It blew my mind.

I like to use "The Emperor's New Clothes" as an example for tranny ideology. Some epic troll convinces an emperor to get naked by handing him imaginary clothes and saying only idiots can't see them. Ashamed that he's apparently an idiot for not being able to see the clothes, he addresses a crowd naked. The crowd is too afraid to point it out, but the emperor is in fact naked. The person in the dress is in fact a male with a penis, or at least the butchered remains of one. The crowd is too afraid to point it out, and the few who are still willing to are ostracized for not also being too afraid to point it out.

It makes it sound like it's normal to be mentally handicapped or mentally ill. It's not.

What the fuck does it and "neurotypical" even mean, anyway? It just seems to be another obnoxious way to say "look at me, I'm special"!
neurotypical means someone without mental illness (also my username lore :) )
as if those people even exist though :story:.
everyone's got some sort of mental condition nowadays, extreme or not

"space" As in either "the tech space" to describe an industry or common interest or "this is a great space for hashing out ideas" to describe a physical area.
"community" used for groups of people that have a unifying quality like being black or liking anime or working for the CIA.
"bop" "vibe" "whole ass" Not going to explain these.

I know there's dozens more floating around in my head.
