Trump was gearing up to use his second term to do everything they feared he'd do in his first. Cut down and rip out immigration policy, crackdown on social media, probably push his own voting rights laws (Which, by the way, I'd have opposed as its a -states- rights issue). Additionally, he'd have absolutely annihilated their finances by denying them the four years they needed to recoup their money, while massively increasing their costs at mid terms.

It was clear he was aware by the end of his first term that he had been sabotaged, that being told to wait on his wanted policies was a ruse by those around him. He was gearing up for revenge, an act of revenge he definitely will make worse if he wins now.

Edit: I realize I didn't answer the first half. A Political Apparatus is the nuts and bolts that make politics work. Think of it as the Machine that is running. So the Democrat Apparatus is the Democrat Machine, the culmination of all their systems, people, structures, etc that allow them to function as a party.

It's actually fairly common for people to go from the House to the Senate. Its often seen as a normal career trajectory, leading up to either a governorship or a position in a Presidential Cabinet. The Senate usually demands more experience from its members, more decorum and gravitas. So it wasn't stupid pf him if he had reason to believe he could win... and there's the catch.

I don't blame Beto for that, I blame whoever was advising him that he could win.

It's a hell of their own making. They created a Uniparty which would let them enrich themselves without opposition. They then grew increasingly detached from what their voters wanted, leading to an increasing majority disinterested in politics. To make up for this, they courted a progressive wing that actively sought to move against them and formed a mutually paraistic relationship. Then, those voters they had written off decided to throw a biog orange-haired Molotov at them. Against all predictions, said molotov won.

They rallied against the molotov, did everything they could to undermine him, sabotaged him from the inside. All while still ignoring the voters who put him there. So when it came time to vote him out, they were staring down the gun of even more pissed-off voters. And they had their own schisms growing from courting that progressive wing. So, rather than tear apart, they made a coalition and actively undermined the electoral process to get the Molotov out.

To do this, they had to call in every favor, spend every cent of capital they could, make every dark deal available to them. All on the promise that when the molotov was out, they'd pay everyone back for this herculean, despicable act.


And then it fell apart. Yes, they could adapt to the initial things Trump was tearing apart. But too much was being burned away for too little to gain. And if he were allowed to continue they'd have nothing to pay those deals back with. So they made more deals, and more deals. And they got in and... it all fell apart.

The Capitol Police response, requesting National Guard backup, to watch over the nondescript and peaceful "Justice for J6" rally in Washington, D.C., on Saturday was trolled as overzealous and misappropriated by former President Donald Trump.

Trump wrote in a Sunday statement from his Save America PAC:

"It is incredible that our National Guard is standing at the empty Capitol, not at our southern border, where the number of illegals coming into our country is at a level that has never been seen before!"

That rebuke preceded a more comprehensive one Sunday by the former president, who said the country is spiraling into a "cesspool of humanity."

"The largest number of illegal aliens in the history of our country are pouring in by the millions," Trump wrote in another Save America PAC statement. "They are totally unchecked and unvetted, can do whatever they want, and go wherever they want. Businesses and finance groups benefit from destroying labor, the anti-Whites use it as a huge part of their genocidal plans, the Communists and Democrats (I repeat myself) use it to get votes, the foreign governments use it to insert spies, and on and on. Even a bureaucratic overhaul that leads to no practical changes would still gut the massive industry of NGOs, law firms, and human traffickers that feast on the tangled legality of the current system. A clean reboot that Trump alluded to, with point based systems, an end to asylum abuse, Remain in Mexico policies, H-1B1 reform, funded and efficient deportations - any one of these would send the open-border parasite types into convulsions. All of it, or even a fair portion, would completely annihilate plans that have been in the works since the 1950's and possibly set off a global tidal wave of anti-'refugee' policy reform that would also fuck up plans that have been in the works for Europe since the 1940's. My running theory is that she got spurned with her initial public gestures to the Cabal who opted instead for open civil war. So she's now doing the actually smart thing and attempting to stay out of sight. She can't actually make any moves against Biden without Cabal support, and she has realized by now her position isn't one of strength. To save herself and get anything at all out of this dumpster fire, she has to sit down, shut the fuck up, wait to see who wins the civil war, and then buddy up to them. She likely can't avoid every attempt to put her in the spotlight, but she can avoid -most- of them.

Aye, if anything I'd say fixing our immigration policy would be even more impactful than you put it up as. Promises to fix it have long come from the Democrats, only for them to keep it as is. Republicans actually working to fix it would do a lot to court the Hispanic vote without having to compromise a single principle. Say goodbye to a lot of purple states if that occurs, and hello to forever red. And watch as several Blue states become purple.

With how much of the electoral strategy revolved around the illegal's kids, having it turned against the Democrats would ensure single party Republican rule for fifty years. The demographics don't lie, if Republicans court even 10% more of the Hispanic vote the Democrats get -fucked-, and projections long-term of the effects of a serious move to court the Hispanics get about 20. The problem is that those serious moves would require reneging on principles, which would alienate chunks of the Republican vote.

Being able to make gains without any compromise thus stands as something that'd be simply horrid for the Democrats.
