He claimed to have purchased the debt from Citibank, he showed up here after the call but I don't think he was ever verified.

There are 2 types. Hard and soft.

A hard credit inquiry is when a lender checks your credit before approving you for a loan, such as a mortgage or car loan, or a credit card you've applied for.

A soft inquiry happens when you receive an offer from a lender, like a pre-approved credit card, or when you check your own credit. (In the US we get offers/junk mail all of the time like this)

Hard inquiries usually stay on your credit report for 2 years. Typically when you are applying for credit it will tell you whether or not it will affect your credit (hard inquiry) by checking and has you confirm.

I don’t think anyone would want Philburt to stop. It would just be wonderful to see him get his comeuppance and eat some humble pie eventually.

Not out of any sense of “the vile Pigroach must be punished for his immorality!” no, but moreso due to the fact that if he was forced to sell the Snort Fort and downsize to a shitty apartment, cut down on his eating, boozing and gambling he would reach levels of toxicity and attitude never before seen. A golden age of pointing and laughing at him.

I mean, if he’s an enjoyable lolcow to watch now that he thinks he’s winning at life, imagine how enjoyable he would be if he thinks he’s losing. No matter how shitty his living conditions would get, he could still stream - and he would have to because he has no employability whatsoever.

A $25-$32 700mL bottle every 3 days puts them at about 9-10 bottles a month, which is $250 - $320 a month. That’s ballpark with no mixers, no tonic, no splurges. It’s really not very much by alcoholic standards. If he drank it all by himself then it doesn’t even put him in the top 10% of Americans.

Also spending $92 at a buffet isn’t crazy if you aren’t poor and are actually buying drinks.

I would be shocked if she had any idea of the extent of it. Was she aware he played some dumb game, for sure. MAYBE he told her he spends $100 or so a month on it. I guarantee she wasn't aware he was spending thousands of dollars a month. Literally more money than she makes at her min wage job.

A lot of this plays into their carer/caree dyanmic. She's in this for a roof over her head. These documents show that the roof is made of tissue paper. I'm sure he told her that the bankruptcy was some "strategic" bullshit and that it will make them stable and he can take care of her until she's old. In reality he's missing fucking mortgage payments to pay for a total loss gambling addiction.

I mean I would’ve thought that the Bankruptcy dispelled a lot of that. He was already broke in a sense…he just borrowed to maintain his lifestyle. The whole hiding/funneling money away thing is just silliness.

He's a diagnosable narcissist. He could take a lie detector test and pass with flying colors that he won that match, he was the best street fighter player in the US, and the damn dirty trolls are the only thing that has ever held him back.
