Bank Documents [18-Sept-2021] - Didn't learn a thing from the bankruptcy

It's weird that it's just called "Credit", in my experience (UK) there are always references alongside any credit/debit transactions so you know where that money has come from or gone to.
That's what they call it on the phone anyway, it just says "A credit of $3000" or whatever. Maybe there's more detailed information if you get a printed statement.
There are a few unmarked debits too. Some of them are probably from getting cash at an ATM, but not all.

By the way, I'm also puzzled about the odd-sized Itunes transactions. Is there anything plausible he could be spending money on via Itunes, or is it all "chopped" Champions transactions where Paypal uses his PP balance first and then goes to the bank account for whatever that doesn't cover?

EDIT:
I noted a gap in credits between May and August, anyone know if I just missed something?
That's how it was in the raw audio, maybe @ProvenWrong can say if the recent dates were done differently than the older ones.

That 21% on gacha is the sort of figure that pulls you up short, dead sober.

We call it gacha, we call it mobile gaming, but anyone who knows their arse from their elbow knows what it is: it is online gambling. In many respects it's worse than that: sometimes people successfully chase their losses on online slot machines. Gacha is gambling for things of literally no value whatsoever. They aren't transferable and even a whale account is worth a pittance if you can successfully resell.

Phil is gambling each month more than he spends on keeping the roof over his and Kat's head. Online gambling losses (it's gacha, it's all losses, the money goes into a black pit at Scopely whether you get what you "wanted" or not) account for more than one fifth of his total income.

Funny thing is, if Phil legit gambled, he would have AT LEAST made some money back.
Online casino gambling, lotto, scratch cards etc... they are made for you to lose money, but if you spend that much as Phil, you get some money back.

Those wrestler .jpegs are not only worth nothing, but he doesn't even technically own them.
It would be a better business decision for him to buy actual physical wrestling trading cards.

The wrestler .jpegs are a substitute for the Wolverine figure.

Could be, or it could be more money from Mama Burnell. Those could be $1000 checks from her that he deposited with a bank app.

Tip conversions from foreign viewers?

I mean, there were multiple people dialing into his account and getting the balance and recent transactions. That's going to set off pretty much any fraud system.

Remember that he borrowed a shit ton of money from his mother to "pay" his taxes.

He gives a mysterious $350 check every month to someone. He does this seemingly every month & does so promptly. Something he doesn't do for his mortgage, his bills, his taxes.
I bet he is paying his mother back from that loan she gave him.

That or Khet left him & he is paying her alimony payments every month.

Maybe he's buying non-food items at grocery stores? Like you said for the amount of money he's spending, that's an absolute crap ton of food for two people a month, do they seriously try and eat it all? Kat must be half the size of a Fiat 500 by now, surely most of it would go to waste if that's actually the case right?
As someone who cooks for a full house 2-3 squares a day I can tell you we eat on a smaller budget than he does, not including his doordash/eating out. That said frozen food is stupid expensive (beef for patties is one quarter the cost of frozen patties with who knows what filler in them) and you know he gets the more expensive brands.

I used to play a mobile "card" game that wasn't Bejeweled with sweaty men, but was probably just as autistic without the gayness.

I didn't whale like Phil, nowhere close, I think maybe $100 over the year or so I played it.

The company that made the game eventually started fucking up and they ended up killing the game. All the "art" i had collected was gone. I was a little upset I couldn't at least go back in and see my "collection."

If they ever kill WWE Champions, can you imagine the heart attack he'll have when he can't even SEE his "collection" of sweaty muscle men anymore?

He'll just move to another game in the franchise that will coincidentally have the same art. There is quite a few WWE related mobile games, is a no brainer.

Same story with me, I spent about $100 overall on a game and it just shut down. I had my fun with it, I'd even say I got my "money's worth", but it was a shock just seeing that it was all gone. Poof.

This will happen with WWE Champions, someday. Most likely, Scopely will make all the shit Phil collected worthless over time with the endless power creep and Phil will move on to another gacha game. But, Phil doesn't own a damn thing. Scopely can simply take it all away at any time and that's it.

I'll bet my house that those monthly checks are his WA Khando HOA fee. I pay my HOA via check as well, and the amount is close to what was listed on the bankruptcy.

It looks like his HOA fee goes up by about $15 a year which is a fucking rip-off lmao.

We don't really know for sure if all of those purchases were for Champions though. The $14.99 and $99.99 prices are probably pretty common in the microtransaction world. Could easily be more than one game he's addicted to.

This is fair. Some of those others could be purchases for.... God knows what. But PayPal can be used on a shit ton of online retailers.

But if he were addicted to multiple different games, it wouldn't line up with the value estimations on his WWE Champions account. The account is just too damn valuable for him not to have spent at least the vast majority of the iTunes and Paypal transactions on that one app. Not only that, but someone lined up when he started spending $16.51 with the exact start date of the special event that opened up a $14.99 transaction in the WWE Champions game. I'd be willing to bet if you were autistic enough, you could look at every event where a 14.99 transaction opened up and find a similar pattern in Phil's spending for the game. 14.99 is not a static transaction price in WWE, it only happens during events.

Spreadsheet updated with latest numbers (thank you guys for doing the heavy lifting for these) I noted a gap in credits between May and August, anyone know if I just missed something?

While I'm not sure if these are the only ones missing, I did manage to find this

Does the leak line up with a $100k WWE Champions account though? I would say no. Maybe a $15-20k account. Some of the sperg detractors are just as bad with exaggeration as DSP is.

Hello, sorry was busy for most of the day taking a CPA exam so I don't think I have full quotes to respond to but I will try and summarize everything as best I can since I did work at a firm that was similar size to Grass CPA (although not the same state).

First things first, DO NOT CONTACT THEM AT ALL, about anything Phil related. I doubt they are licensed by the PCAOB so the only people they would be legally forced to tell any info to is under a subpoena. Calling them just gives Phil the narrative that trolls are harassing him irl and we have touched enough poop already.

Second, normally with a small business like this, the accounting firm would want to be in charge of bookkeeping services so that the taxes are easier and they can consult based on business trends they notice. Now if the $297 for charges didn't already tip you off then Phil's basic nature should have told you that "He has a business degree dood and he can do that himself." So the accountants are probably coming at this somewhat blind but not dumb. They would require some sort of proof or backing as to where the expenses are coming from. I have had plenty of tax returns that I have filled out where we needed proof of a $15 dollar donation to goodwill before reporting it, so these guys who live and breathe small time tax returns would be all over him if he tried pawning off these thousands of dollars of charges they would instantly demand proof. $297 is not worth losing a CPA license over, trust me on this (getting the license is proving to be a year and a half of work and no social life).

Third, in order for Phil to even consider these as business expenses, he would need to play WWE Champions almost exclusively on stream. Right now, things I would consider business expenses he could write off would be the games he buys, his internet bill, electricity or its equivalent, and depreciation expenses on his computer, laptop, and whatever games he plays. But I doubt he is even getting the depreciation expense right since MACRS is a bitch to follow and it requires effort.

Fourth, creating an LLC is way too much time and money for Phil to ever do. He would need a registered agent in Washington, file a certificate of formation with the secretary of state in Washington, create an operating agreement (although its not needed for washington), and then get an EIN. On top of that, the LLC needs to fill out its own tax returns which means paying Grass more money for different tax returns and probably having them insist on doing Phil's bookkeeping as well. Which means more eyes on his finances, which he is paranoid of as we have seen, and more payments to something that isn't Doordash, booze, or WWE Champions.

If I missed anything or if there are other questions, I can try and respond best I can in between studying for REG and praying as hard as possible that I don't have to take AUD again in between this fun busy season

The leak doesn't seem to go far enough back to determine exactly what the damages are.

That said, when you have fucking $140 to your name.... $20k or 100k doesn't really mean jack shit. He spends every plugged nickel he can dig up right into that mobile game
