Off topic: Milo has always claimed to be a rosary rattler, RC is pretty camp (lots of bling and swishy clothing), and in a free society way, I've no problem with it, assuming it isn't mkultra shit.

Back on topic: I too watch DJ, and I think someone mentioned in the comments that Beg Bears take on Christianity is similar to an Islamic view. And while there are legitimate criticisms to be made of RC, from Catholicism you get psychotherapy. Something the guy needs.

Also, seeing as the dude has been dox'd, and narked off a bunch of people who are likely to have guns, I might want to consider getting help, at least AA.

Man that schizophrenia ridden Kat is by far one of the most compelling examples of how Owen is a huge piece of shit grifter. Though, I don't feel bad for the crazy bitch either, and honestly it was her fault she ended up getting evicted from her own trailer home to begin with. Plus the superiority God complex is strong in this skittle brained fuck. She literally have half of her social security cheque away to help Owen fund his Ram Ranch fantasy. Either way Owen or no Owen, she was going to end up in the situation of sleeping in a car anyways, but he could of helped her knowing she wasn't mentally stable.

He could of used some of the grift fund to help the chick get situated at least until the state intervined. Then it could of been at least kept somewhat quiet and if someone came a crossed the nutters videos. He could of used the situation optically in a positive manner, opposed to doing what we all would expect him to do. Owen is a grifter that milks mentally unwell people for their piggy funds.

I still thought this was hilarious and one of Owens moments of unintentional comedy. Him slipping up on the livestream was a fucking great moment. That being said, this chick is a wingbat, and I don't feel any sympathy for her either. Probably half the reason why her better half and her kid want nothing to do with her. Probably spent all of that kids childhood running away ending up in random places, because of the maniac reactions. Owen should of at the very fucking least refunded the money and contacted someone that could help this unfucking stable person. He couldn't even bare to do the minimum.

It would be that because it just makes the bears as a collective look fucking ridiculous. As with the Milo shit, I didn't pay attention because Milo is an attention hungry queer. At least being a closeted gay preacher might be more in line to Owen territory, so at least they had a middle ground in that conversation. If one of Owens kids doesn't end up the next Elliot Roger, I would be surprised.

Owen's Ursa Rio may be in violation of some county zoning laws and if he doesn't correct course, the Sherriff will have to step in. Owen will probably comply but call it a win, though he may be dumb enough to do a poor man's reenactment of Ruby Ridge.

This is interesting because as far as I've seen it's the first verifiable example of Owen coming into conflict with his local community - I'm not counting his face-off with Kat because she's an out-of-towner already indoctrinated into Owen's e-cult, and I've always assumed that Owen's relaying of arguments with Sandpoint residents (e.g. "YOU GUYS, some faggot wanted me to wear a mask at the post office and I destroyed him!") were heavily embellished.

The Kootenai Valley Times piece says:

/u/eliz- was in correspondence with local journalists. She's apparently a poor widow that was an ex-bear who bought into the Beartaria scam and gave $400 to Owen. She believed Owen when he said that she could be refunded and when that inevitably didn't happen, she realized that Owen manipulated her.

Out of all of the prolific users of that subreddit, she's one of the most passionate about Big Bear getting his comeuppance, and with her backstory, a pretty big reason to want Owen to be punished. It wouldn't strike me as odd if she took the time to learn the local laws and get in contact with the local authorities.

But I have a feeling that this was a genuine local concern. Owen's told stories about his confrontations with locals that have slighted him, most recently one at Home Depot where he and another guy were going to the same register and Owen repeatedly insulted the guy for wearing a mask and told him to stay 6 feet away. Owen's obnoxious and aggressive attitude to the merest inconvenience has probably given him a reputation among the locals. His Ursa Rio project has probably caught the attention of his neighbors as how much construction goes on in the forests near Sandpoint? Locals then do some online research, find out that Owen is an insane hate-monger, and try to stop him from setting up his far-right Jonestown.

Maybe less so than you think, depending on the sort of people they want to attract, which should be Christian Identity and racial separatist types with that branding.

Because Ruby Ridge became infamous only because Randy Weaver refused to accept a suicide mission demand from the Feds, that he infiltrate another pro-white group with which he'd developed an extreme mutual loathing, as I recall entirely justified from his viewpoint. It was nothing like Waco which was targeted because the BATF wanted something dramatic to get more money from the new Democratic Congress and Clinton, a community that was much easier to paint as, well, ultimately, all of them deserving death.

Of course, making a big deal of it on social media is entirely against Weaver's ethos, which was just to live with his family and friends on his own away from it all. That was one of the most frightening things about the Fed's long term sustained assault, in their minds there's literally no obscure place on the Earth that doesn't fall under their remit. Which of course is now more obvious with the Forever War on Terror.

It isn't armchair psychology, Owen is just a bully. You can see it whenever he goes off on some Bear that slighted him in a chat. He insults them, repeatedly insinuates that they are gay or an excessive masturbator. And it is said in a way not to ridicule them, like a comic would to make fun of a heckler. Owen wants to verbal hurt people that inconvenience him. Even if he wants to be physically intimidating, he's a fat 41 year old that struggles to do basic labor. A midget could knock him to the ground in a fight. Or anyone could just say that he is gay, and Owen will fold in an instant.
