Taishi's TL:
[EN] 【UPDATE】
① My voice had been getting hoarse again lately, so I went to the hospital again. It turns out my vocal nodules did not particularly worsen, but it was my vocal cords that were suffering from internal bleeding (because of overstrain). It is expected to heal in four days.
② I will be taking a one-month break. I’ve finally resolved myself to take a one-month break after discussing this with other Holomems and management.

I will be taking this month so that my vocal nodules can also make a full recovery before the Gen 3 concert and also so that I can continue streaming with peace of mind in the future!!
(Although the nodule has indeed grown smaller, it’s still very much still present, so I’m aiming to defeat for once and for all!)
When I first learned I had the nodule, I wasn’t able to allow myself to rest fully because I felt like I still had to stream something. However, with the important upcoming concert and my own future health in mind, I will do my best and make myself rest up!
This might make many of you lonely, but I’ll make it up to you with plenty of fanservice when I return!
③ Through the hospital’s referral, I will be taking proper voice training lessons in the future! Apparently, my vocal cords’ internal bleeding and my voice returning to being hoarse so soon after recovering are both because I’ve been vocalizing improperly. I will be undergoing weekly training to fix this. (After the internal bleeding heals, of course!)
④ Other Details
I asked the hospital if this meant I wasn’t allowed to speak a single word for the entire month, and they said it wasn’t to that detail. Therefore, I will still be doing all the collabs that I had previously arranged and the recordings that, for some reason or another, simply cannot be rescheduled.
Recording sessions and promotion events that will take a long time have been shifted to after my recovery.
Solo streams will be on hold until after I undergo the voice training and learn how to vocalize properly.
In light of all this, I will generally not be calling anyone behind the scenes and will do my best to not use my voice. I pretty much only chat briefly with other Holomem when I bump into them during recording sessions and off-collabs and only use chat the rest of the time. So please don’t worry about me still over-using my voice during my rest period
I am truly sorry about getting unwell so many times this year and causing you guys to worry.
Even when I know I really should rest, I still unconsciously find myself seeking a place to belong through streaming.
What with aiming for 2 million subs and all, I really struggled to find a way to avoid resting, even if it meant making my throat worse. However, the final conclusion I arrived at was that it’s much better that I get the rest and training I need so that I can speak with you guys as long as I want!
During my rest period, I will do my best to continue engaging with you guys with video uploads, through Twitter, and through the Free Chat stream!
I definitely want to treasure all of you kind souls who are patiently waiting for me...
I hope you continue to give me your support.
