but tbh I really pray that BOTH of those deals fall through, because the Dems can't resolve the impasse between their own factions. a lot of political analysts I remember reading from seem very certain this admin really could be the last time the Dems ever have even an ounce of this much power within this decade at least, so if it all falls through at once in this one-shot deal (Biden: knock on wood heh), then that would be abject humiliation for everyone of them, liberals or not.

Well, social media users can fuck right off. Haitians aren't Americans. I seriously doubt they want these "refugees" shitting up their neighborhoods; they always want to force them on everyone else.
The border situation is a complete joke anyway. Those Haitians are carrying takeout containers because they can cross the border into Mexico for takeout and then cross right back over into the US. They're not staying in Latin America only because they're not satisfied with the gibs being given out there.

I think it's Ireland in general. The Troubles are a sore spot for a lot of people, especially given the role US citizens (and even government officials) played in supplying arms and funding to the IRA. I bet they didn't want any awkward questions coming up about it, or Joe's possible involvement in it.
