Why do normies hate rare steak?

I like rare personally, but it can be dangerous if the internal temperature isn't brought up enough to minimize any potential pathogens. I'd go medium rare depending on the establishment just to be on the safe side. Never had blue though, would like to but I don't trust anyone.

Also, related and essential:

Medium rare or medium is usually my go-to. Partly because it's hotter, honestly hitting medium perfectly is the greatest level of steak skill.

Well cooked and salty is the way. Medium rare is juicy, but unless it's very heavy fat cut, it's fucking chewey. ew.

In other countries (like Uruguay), the steak or any kind of beef cut are cooked medium-well or well. It depends on the quality of the meat, the better the quality the tender, so you can eat it well-cooked and it won't taste like a shoe sole.

As a rare steak lover, too many of my kind seem a little "try hardy" about it.
Like yes: the best kind of steak is one where the blood flows onto the plate when you cut into it. But just because you have the objectively correct preference doesn't make you special.

I really don't care how you eat your steak unless you're dissing someone else for eating it a certain way. Your tastes are free game if you can dish it
