US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

To be fair it was kinda strange that he was never detained, brought in for questioning, or really pushed forth as a prime suspect with all the red lights surrounding the mess. Also, what type of fiancé stays quiet and lawyers up if their significant other is dead or missing. Like if you loved that person a lot you would be aching to find out what happened to them and loud, unless you did something you weren't supposed to. Just mad sus that I felt was either ignored or just incompetence in law enforcement took over.

For how much I go on and on about not talking to the police, I do find it odd that the second he wouldn't talk they didn't bring him in or put him under any surveillance.

As it is, it's not like they can even say they told him to "not leave town" or anything, at least from my understanding of how they handled him.

Serious question: how and quite frankly WHY are there all these Haitians at the Mexican border? Wouldn't it be easier for them to go to Cuba or the Dominican Republic? Or the Bahamas?

Or if they wanted to go to US soil, why not Puerto Rico? Or Florida?
Dominicans absolutely hate Haitians in a way none of us is capable of fully comprehending as we don't share not just a land border but an island with those people. Allied Mastercomputer's hated for mankind is nothing compared to the hatred Dominicans have for Haitians. Any sort of mass migration would end in outright genocide.

CNN flailing, lol

15 months is a year and 3 months, for people who understand it better that way (like me). Aka, his time until midterms.

I would highly recommend reading both articles, despite being from CNN.
They are correct, the fact they put a time limit on it is... interesting. If it fails, when it fails, there will be absolutely no reason for the civil war to remain quiet. They have been irreparably damaged.
I think a few people trying to dismiss, or even to hype up, the scrapped deal miss -why- it's impactful. Joe Biden went behind a European ally's back to make a deal with clear economic repercussions on that ally. While France is the one being the loudest for obvious reasons, the entirety of the EU is now looking over and wondering "Just what else will Biden do?". With one action, he damaged the U.S. relations with Europe more than the entire accumulation of what Trump did.

@Gehenna, sad to ask this, but with Afghanistan basically out of the news cycle forever now, do you think it will still have an impact in 14 months or was that catastrophe too early for midterms damage?

Or will it be washed in a sea of absolute fuck ups that are hard to distinguish from one another? I mean, we are 8 1/2 months into this presidency, and oh boy has it been interesting so far. I don't suspect a "turnaround", but will the wounds still be AS big in 14 months or will they heal even if only a little?

Not Gehenna so feel free to disregard, but its a bit hard to heal old wounds when new ones keep getting added all the time. And I don't think the bloodletting will stop any time soon. Do you?

It's because the average IQ in Haiti is 72 and you must have an IQ of 75 to stand trial in the United States. No politician will dare say it out loud but every one of them left and right is scared of the optics that will occur when one of these guys has a "sexual emergency" and they'll be forced to let them walk.
I'm not really a conspiracy guy but is seems very suspect that Texas really really really pissed of the left by passing an abortion ban and then two weeks later has 20,00 Haitians at their border courtesy of leftist NGOs.

Tl'dr it's revenge for the abortion thing.
Fuck, both these posts individually are pretty interesting, but combined they're outright terrifying.

> Texas pisses off the left with an abortion ban
> Suddenly, Haitians!
> Who can't be trusted to not have a sexual emergency
> Which will create demand for more abortions
> Insert smug pro abortionist I Told You So here

I know I shit talk male feminist allies for being sex pests who would rape if they thought they could get away with it, but this takes weaponized rape to a lower low than that.

It'll have an effect, just not how people think it would.

It was a turning point, the point everyone stopped believing Biden was going to be stability after Trump. While few will cite Afghanistan come 2022, its pallor will color everything. Every fuckup after, every revelation after, every single problem will be worse because Afghanistan made him lose the public goodwill and trust.

While no one will cite Afghanistan, it will be Afghanistan that will kill him.

A lot of these Haitians were already in South America because they’re economic migrants that nobody, not even their own country, wants. May as well dump them into the ocean tbh

One of the interesting things in the article are some of the low IQs admitting they had decent lives in places like Chile, but then got starry eyed with the promise of gibs from Biden and decided to border jump.

biden was screwing up at the UN meeting more after his speech. There's a vid were it looks like he's lunging forward to grab a someone, but no body is even remotely close to him when the camura zooms out.

Shade war is getting hot against her

The Haitian immigrant thing is only new in so far that it's happening in Texas now. Haitians have been parked in Tijuana on the border of California for at least four years seeking asylum in the U.S.. The recent attention they're getting is because it looks bad for the administration and it looks bad for the people in the administration trying to deport them.
Remember when the president of Haiti was assassinated two months ago? How did that get memory-holed so fast?

For a bit of frame of reference. Afghanistan shaped up to be and I'll go on record saying is Biden's "Franz Ferdinand". Everyone can now agree that the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand was the turning point, the exact moment that WWI became inevitable.

But I guarantee nobody who was fighting even a year later was thinking of the late Archduke.

Turning points are like this, forgotten except in hindsight but the point things become inevitable.

You know how we import a bunch of South Americans to do temporary farm work in the U.S.?

Well Peru and Argentina still have crops that need picking, but they pay so low they have to take the Haitians. So now those Haitians are experiencing a backlash and a lot of them are running for the U.S. border since they think Joe will let them in.

Geez, even I forgot that was so recent.

So much shit has happened in the last 3 months.
What was that quote by Lenin? In some decades it feels like a week has happened, and some weeks it feels like decades happen?

I might be misquoting him, but it feels like we've been living through complete epochs compared to January of last year.

Edit: Here's the quote

“There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen.”

I think the "We don't need masks no more" and then "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MASK UP" was the first rumbling of discontent, but the rapidly shrinking time to Taliban takeover is definitely the real turning point.
