Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

It does seem baffling, but there was an incident of propaganda in WWI that likely influenced their thinking and that of many others.

It was taken at face value by a fair amount of people at the time. and the when the truth was revealed, it likely had a negative impact on people believing initial reports on the concentration camps later on.

Half the issue with shit like teachers isn't tax money. It's the fact that none of your taxes directly go "to the schools", they go into one big pot and that's divvied up by the people who make absurd amounts of money because they're the people that decide how it is to be allocated. School superintendents - a job with almost NO purpose other than to exist as some final authority in a field where everyone just does what the government proper tells them to do - devour school budgets like nothing else, leaving almost nothing left for the actual schools.

The problem with America isn't "the rich", it is the bonus culture that rewards managers for existing and making cuts that save pennies.
