He beat up Luna and the ex before him (who was old and mentally ill) until they were bruised. Luna was once beaten to the point that she couldn't remember how old she was or her phone number and needed to get surgery to fix her teeth. Gatis lied about it and got $5K in donations.

This is not to mention other behavior like his kleptomania and his Columbine phase.
Gatis was intending to fly back to the Netherlands early in the year to pursue her "legally." Jasmine was completely willing to follow him and be an accomplice to the double homicide (and suicide probably) and said she would cover for him if he went. Luna deleted her patreon and YouTube when she got wind of the seriousness of it.
I don't think she even has the choice to cut off contact. She has been completely dark on social media and had no contact with him until very recently if we take Gatis at his word. He's a known liar though, and it seems that if she did message him, he was the one tormenting her into a response.
EDIT: I looked into
Airbnb's review policy to see if I can make sense of this timeline.
I've been checking Gatis' profile fairly frequently and the review from Annet was probably published within a few hours of my post pointing it out. I'll be using CEST/GMT+2 (NL) time for simplicity. The checkout time is 11 AM for her place. This means that Gatis and Catherine checked out on the 8th of September.

However, the "Arrived in Canada" video was posted on the 7th of September at 21:35 CEST time. In the video, they mention that they arrived in Canada
the day before they filmed it. It's impossible for this timeline to make any sense, unless they booked the Airbnb for an extra day which, again makes no sense at all. Flights from AMS to YUL (Montreal) run every second day at minimum, so it's not like they would be unaware of the timeline. Also, another note is that Zierikzee is 2 hours away from AMS, so it really isn't ideal for them to stay there if their intent is to just fly to Canada.
This means that if he did overbook, they overbooked for an
extra two days. I doubt that the possibility of a surprise super cheap last second flight would be able to offset the extra $120 he had to pay. I think if he did overbook somehow, it would have been an honest mistake. Perhaps brought upon by the stress of visiting his ex?
At the very least Gatis and Catherine are deliberately hiding that they stayed in the Netherlands for three days at the very minimum. The aside about Europe reminding Gatis about his "past" is also very disingenuous. Of course you would be reminded of your past if you visited where your ex girlfriend lives...
Another possibility I can think of is that Gatis booked a stay for someone else. He doesn't seem like the charitable type, and
Airbnb has a policy barring this.
Sv3rige has also gone dark on all social media since posting the Canada video. It's been a little over two weeks.
We'll just have to see how this progresses from here; hopefully we'll see some Canadian Airbnb reviews soon or some other good sign.
