As far as I know, he's employed and receives no government money. He's able-bodied enough to do what he does, and while very low IQ, not technically retarded.

Besides, all his litigious schemes and his hookers cost more than he'd make on disability. Especially when you add on the GFE and the asshole tax.

It's suspected that his parents help him out financially sometimes but there's no proof of this.

I realized why I have never seen them dismissed with prejudice. Every time I was sued by my personal lolcow it was dismissed because of subject matter or diversity jurisdiction, which is usually resolved by filling in the correct court. Nevermind that there was nothing the suit could actually remedy. Why some judges don't just cut the lawsuit off by the head instead of just smacking their hand and telling them to file somewhere else I don't understand. Guess they are just fucking lazy.

With Russ I don't so much hate him, but the fact we exist in a situation where someone like him can get away with what he does drives me up a wall a bit.

98% of men and ~50% of women would mangle Russ in a fight, yet women actually have to be afraid of the tiny little slack jawed abomination because they don't know what he might do and when. He's got an IQ barely above his height in inches, yet he's capable of creating ongoing legal headaches for entire groups of people. He's got no power at all, but it's probably still a little scary for people who he legally threatens who don't know better; yes, we can all easily tell that he's a fangless idiot, but not everyone spends their free time observing retards who threaten lawsuits more often than they bathe, and god forbid some timid girl who doesn't know better gets scared into giving Russ what he wants.

It is a lot like Yaniv in that sure, they won't win in the end because they suck, but they're so valueless as humans that the fact that anyone was forced to play their game to begin with is an absolute disgrace. Maybe he files an appeal and acts like this was a minor setback.
Or maybe, what with WhoreBitter and this dismissal, he's truly found his "caught off guard" situation. We won't know, I guess, until we see/hear it. But keep your eyes open and your ears to the ground/wall--because Russell is now a bigger "at risk" threat to girls and young women. He is escalating, and the piling on could push him to do something.

Oh hell no. By expressing a small token of sympathy with him the Judge likely unintentionally encouraged more. He's already begun an appeal, although her ruling largely will stop that cold once the appeals court looks at it.

Oh I agree. In fact, given the massive blows to his ego he's taken this month alone, I could see him doing it soon. I think he might try to get to a brothel, get denied service, and lose his shit right there and attack the first woman he sees there.

There should be a mechanism that makes it easier for a wrongfully sued defendant to recoup their funds, and for the courts to punish and prevent more shenanigans from the same plaintiff in the future. Russ should not have been allowed to file this suit, except for maybe the copyright claim. He had some grounds for that, but the rest of his "suit" was just him whining that mean people hurt his fee-fees and the court should make us stop. Unfortunately, a right to sue exists, and courts are reluctant to infringe on it, because in many cases, it's the only way for a wronged party to get any kind of justice. Russ seems to think it's for forcing people to do what he wants, regardless of their rights. But it takes a lot for judges to prevent frivolous filings.

He's only filed three times in Utah courts. The last two TS suits were federal, and as I recall, there's no vexatious litigant statute in federal law.
