Plagued COVID Conspiracy Theorists and other idiots - This is not a political thunderdome or gay slapfight thread.

I could understand why a red neck hick won’t get the vaccine (because of the opioid crisis) or a black dude (becuase they used to be guena pigs for vaccines or something). However most of the anti vacciner I have seen are middle class Americans and their spokesmen are upper class Americans. People who don’t have any excuse to take the vaccine expect for “muh freedom”. I could understand protesting lockdowns but vaccines are just retarded. Literally just take the jab, and we can get it over with quick.
Why do you think only blacks wouldn't trust government mandated vaccines when you say they were used as guena pigs in the past? Modern politicians are kryptonite to everyone not on the left, they don't trust them and will push back against almost anything they say and do. Politicians and the media are hostile towards that demographic and the demographic is like wise hostile back at them. Some of them would have taken it if they didn't see harsh censorship towards anything skeptical to it and then government officials doing a 180 and agreeing with some of the 'conspiracy theory' enough to investigate it.

You can alog as hard as you like over anti-covid vaccination people but the problem isn't some underground cult sniffing glue to cure the common cold. It's educated people being faced with constant contradictions choosing to take the conservative position in a shit storm. If the vax is under tested and potentially dangerous it's best not to have it since you can't undo it later. If it was taking a pill and you could stop if there was a problem many more would have taken it up. As things stand now, people don't know who to trust and decide it's best to avoid being vaccinated until they have a clearer picture. Blame the officials/the medical industry for being corrupt snakes and muddying the water as much as possible since day one of toilet paper shortage.

The only way to get these people to take any sort of covid vaccine is to wait a year for things to settle down and then when they see how people they know have taken it have reacted they will decide. Trying to shame and bully them into it isn't going to work, they don't trust the system (rightfully so) and they don't trust people spouting the party line. As long as the vaccine doesn't stop you getting covid or spreading it then it's not going to be enough to counter weight the potential risks for them. They're not stupid, they're not anti-medicine, they're not anti-science, they're anti-covid knee jerk reactions and corrupt mouths preaching at them and calling them a non-believer if they question the official narrative at all.

No they won't, they'll just move the goalposts again like every other time.

You have many, many incorrect takes about how the vaccine works.

Then why is the anti-vax community so full of misinformation and conspiracy theories? Unsourced tweets and anecdotes count as evidence, most of the time they don't even read the studies that they're holding up and let's not even get into the Bill Gates/Fauci/5G/microchip nonsense? They're not questioning the official narrative, they've constructed an alternate reality.

i feel like you're giving these types way too much credit. whenever i bitch and moan and sperg about anti-vaxxers here, it's not because they aren't being good little shills towing some kind of party line. i don't give a shit about politics and i firmly believe bipartisanship is a mental illness that should be in the dsm v.

what does bother me, however, is the way they overgeneralize a complex, multifaceted issue that requires everyone to work together in unison if anything worthwhile is to be done, before loudly and proudly declaring from the rooftops that their lack of specialized education makes them better than the damn dirty eggheads who spent years in their profession. questioning authority, wanting more answers, and doing your own digging are all great tools to being an adult with healthy critical thinking skills, but any tool can be used incorrectly, and in this case they're just being wielded with the intellectual grace of an orangutan in end-stage alzheimers holding a hammer in one hand and a rocket launcher in the other.

No they won't, they'll just move the goalposts again like every other time.
We have arguably passed the one year goalpost already. The BNT162b2 trials were last year. They started enrolling people in April, so that's 17 months. By October or November, the entire test population will have reached their one year anniversary. And there will be no mass die-off, no antibody dependent enhancement, and no infertility. There might be a slight decrease in vaccine effectiveness, but it'll still work. And like you said, they'll move the goal posts again.

New ACIP slides are out, for those who enjoy this kind of thing.

Why do you think only blacks wouldn't trust government mandated vaccines when you say they were used as guena pigs in the past?
I wasn't clear enough, I didn't say only blacks, I also mentioned Red Necks. Also I said "I could understand", I wasn't endorsing that behavior, I just said I could understand.
Modern politicians are kryptonite to everyone not on the left, they don't trust them and will push back against almost anything they say and do.
It is kryptonite to everyone, not just lefties.
Some of them would have taken it if they didn't see harsh censorship towards anything skeptical to it and then government officials doing a 180 and agreeing with some of the 'conspiracy theory' enough to investigate
No they wouldn't, the people that you are talking about are vaccine hesitant, but the people I am talking about are vaccine dieners. These people will not, nor ever take the vaccine. These are the people who would rather use fucking horse dewormer over a vaccine.
You can alog as hard as you like over anti-covid vaccination people but the problem isn't some underground cult sniffing glue to cure the common cold. How are these people "educated", I am pretty sure anyone who is educated would take the vaccine, if they are worried about the side effects that's fine and they should consult a doctor about this. Also these "constant contradictions", I will assume you are talking about the FDA changing statements about Covid and the vaccine. The reason those statements were changed was because they got more knowledge about how the vaccine worked. Also the vaccine has been out for nearly 3 months, the people you are describing are vaccine hesitant, the same "blacks and "red necks" I was talking about. The people I was talking about are people who trust a fucking animal dewormer over the fucking FDA. Vaccine hesitancy is different from Vaccine deniers. They are called Anti-vaxxers for a reason.
Blame the officials/the medical industry for being corrupt snakes and muddying the water as much as possible since day one of toilet paper shortage.
I agree we should blame the official for not being clear enough, but the problem I have with that statement is that you are using that to deflect the blame to the officials rather than the anti vaxxers. I know the medical industry is corrupt as shit, but they didn't fuel the paranoia, the politicians did. Most of the medical industry was in favor of vaccines. We have literal congress members who compare mandates to Nazi Germany.
The only way to get these people to take any sort of covid vaccine is to wait a year for things to settle down and then when they see how people they know have taken it have reacted they will decide. These people I was talking about and the people that the farmer make fun off are people who will never take the vaccine even with all the info. Most anti Covid people talk about vaccine choice not vaccine safety, they are talking about not being forced to take a vaccine our safety.
They're not stupid, they're not anti-medicine, they're not anti-science, they're anti-covid knee jerk reactions and corrupt mouths preaching at them and calling them a non-believer if they question the official narrative at all.
Yes they are, you are giving them way too much of the benefit of the doubt, also its been a fucking 3 months since the vaccines have rolled out, the death toll of the vaccine is far less than the death toll of Covid. These people say Covid death toll is pretty weak but will bitch about that one dude who died to Covid vaccine. " anti-Covid knee jerk", have we been seeing different things you should lurk more in this thread. "Official narrative" dude this isn't a conspiracy, vaccines are far better than getting Covid. Vaccine hesitancy is fine but Vaccine denier is stupid. These people aren't being skeptical, they are in outright denial, there is a reason why they are being made fun of. They are the things you describe, we aren't talking about vaccine hesitancy, we are talking about Anti-Vaxxers. They don't care about nuance, they just say ''me no like vaccine"

No they won't, they'll just move the goalposts again like every other time.
Ironic considering how many goalposts have moved to "Flatten the curve and get back to normal" which never manifests.
Then why is the anti-vax community so full of misinformation and conspiracy theories? Unsourced tweets and anecdotes count as evidence, most of the time they don't even read the studies that they're holding up and let's not even get into the Bill Gates/Fauci/5G/microchip nonsense? The anti-vax community is an incredibly small subset of people not wanting the vaccine. It's like pointing to Chris and asking why all autistic people fuck their mothers. Laughing at those people is funny, but the thread isn't that any more is it? Bitchute is overrun with idiots saying 5G is going to kill everyone and vaccine passports are the mark of the beast, does that stop people with serious concerns about privacy having legit gripes about government entities demanding you send private companies data of every where you go in public? We already had 1 major data breach.

The majority of those types don't trust the doctors because the doctors have flip flopped on stuff. It was one mask, then maybe two masks? And CDC stating masks don't make a difference. People lose trust in experts when everyone is giving conflicting advice and you have mass censorship going on. If one country says to try X medicine while mentioning it on facebook gets you banned people are rightfully going to see a mixed signal. Maybe promoting nurses dancing on Tiktok while saying they're swamped with people dying might have been a bad signal to send to the public?

I have been lurking the thread for months.

I have had covid twice, many of my friends have had it too. I've had worse flu. A lot of people have covid but don't even know it. So covid contradictions pop up again, where it's bad enough to shut down entire countries (and implement many changes) but it's so dangerous you may not notice you have it. Are there covid checks at the Mexican border yet?

Here's an article from Reclaim the Net about Covid passports being racist. BLM protests over a black gang attacking 3 multiracial waitresses and tries to blame non existent white people calling one of them a nigger. She's a doctor, so you know it's a trust worthy source for the thread. I can't find what kind of doctor she is but every news article mentions it after her name.
Following an altercation at a restaurant in New York City, involving three black patrons and a waitress, the Black Lives Matter of NYC and other social justice organizations have claimed that vaccine passports are being used to propagate racism.

According to the original police report, three black women from Texas got into a fight with a 24-year-old waitress at Carmine’s restaurant last week, Thursday. The fight was allegedly related to vaccine passports.

However, the information provided by lawyers from both sides indicates that the three women did provide vaccine passports. The lawyers told the New York Times that the trouble began after three men arrived to join the three women who were already seated in the restaurant. Two of the men did not have proof of vaccination.

A lawyer representing one of the women claimed that the fight started after the waitress accused them of carrying fake vaccine passports. The lawyer, Justin Moore, representing Kaeita Nkeenge Rankin, a doctor, said that the waitress used the N-word.

Following the fight, the NYPD arrested the three women for assault and criminal mischief.

On Monday, the Black Lives Matter Greater New York organized a demonstration outside of Carmine’s to clarify the story from the perspective of the women.

Aside from speaking against the use of the racial slur, speakers at the rally said that vaccine passports were being used to discriminate against black people. BLM claimed the waitress was white, but the restaurant’s owner, Jeffrey Banks, told the New York Post that the employees that were assaulted were Asian American, Latina, and Black.

BLM Greater New York co-founder Hank Newsome accused the restaurant of covering for “their employees’ actions by using [the] vaccination passport as an excuse.” He further demanded the release of the restaurant’s security footage, which showed that indeed one of the customers threw the first blow.

Chivona Newsome, the other co-founder of BLM Greater New York said that the city’s vaccine mandate and vaccine passports has resulted in the discrimination of black people.

“Being a doctor does not protect you from anti-blackness. Having a vaccination card does not protect you from discrimination. The 1964 Civil Rights Act prohibits the actions of Carmine’s. It says it is illegal to discriminate against you on the basis of race,” she said.

“Seventy-two percent of black people in this city from ages 18 to 44 are unvaccinated. So what is going to stop the Gestapo, I mean the NYPD, from rounding up black people, from snatching them off the train, off the bus?” she added.

Chivona threatened to take to the streets if such incidents persisted.

“We’re putting this city on notice that your mandate will not be another racist social-distance practice. Black people are not going to stand by, or you will see another uprising. And that is not a threat; that is a promise,” she said. “The vaccination passport is not a free passport to racism.”

“Most black people aren’t going to acknowledge that the Democratic Party has disenfranchised us. Malcom X said it’s foxes and wolves. The fox pretends to be your friend to your face but passes laws behind your back to harm you. The wolf is not your friend, they don’t like you, and they treat you as such. But who do you respect more? Black people tend to fall for the fox,” a protester, who did not wish to be identified, told the National Review.

“This vaccine mandate is disproportionately affecting people of color. People shouldn’t be forced to do it. It’s ‘for your health,’ but they’re willing to ruin people’s lives to protect against a virus with over a 99 percent survival rate. . . This is going to be the new Jim Crow, and it’s going to affect mostly people of color,” the person added.

does that stop people with serious concerns about privacy having legit gripes about government entities demanding you send private companies data of every where you go in public? We already had 1 major data breach.
No one in this thread is against privacy, they are active in kiwi farms after all. Also no one has brought up that privacy is bad. The reason the vaccine passport was made in the first place was because they were so many people that didn't take the vaccine. The people who you claim are "an incredibly small subset".

Why do you think only blacks wouldn't trust government mandated vaccines when you say they were used as guena pigs in the past? Modern politicians are kryptonite to everyone not on the left, they don't trust them and will push back against almost anything they say and do.
It's amazing how you "I hate all politicians" retards seem to make an exception for anyone who is a Republican

Think. I'm confident that if you take the time to think about what you just wrote for two minutes, you can figure out why this is not a contradiction at all.

They have been trying to pass similar tracking systems in Europe for years and always got told to fuck off. You have much more faith in the police state than I do. Many changes have been pushed through via covid emergency measures that other wise wouldn't have been possible. I don't want to reveal my location, so excuse the vagueness but all the small local businesses closing down from covid business drops have been bought up by companies related to the politicians making the rules. The elites bought up a lot of real estate in prime locations from small business owners. Much of it is being turned into flats and leased to people outside the area of different ethnic backgrounds. My friend lost his family home after his business was forced to shut for lockdowns, the house was bought by a rentals company owned in part by the regional political representative's sister and is now being rented to Chinese students.
It's amazing how you "I hate all politicians" retards seem to make an exception for anyone who is a Republican
I never stated any politician alliance. The repulicans and any other conservative party are all as bad as the left parties are. They all want to intrude on people's private lives and sell the data off to third parties. I want nothing to do with any of them. Try a better straw man next time.

Baiting this thread would be too easy. I can do it in 5 words.

I'm skeptical about the vaccine.

Trials aren't trusted from companies known to forge results and having massive fines over it. We won't see infertility impacts kick in for another year when the number of births drop if it's an issue at all.
Okay then, ignore the trials. There's dozens of other papers from different countries all over the world doing research with their own populations under their own protocols. They're not all conspiring to boost Pfizer's stock price. Some of them would prefer the Pfizer vaccine to crash and burn so they can sell a locally-produced alternative. Even scientists without an economic motive would love to prove that an approved vaccine is unsafe; a paper like that could make someone's career. But they keep coming up with similar results. Educated people are aware of this, which is why they don't become anti-vaxers.

You don't have to wait a year to see if there's any fertility issues. Like I said above, these things have been in use or more than a year, and those people have been having sex. They looked at fertility in the Pfizer and Moderna (and probably Janssen) trials, and there was no difference between the vaccine arm and the control arm for any vaccine. Women got pregnant at exactly the same rate in both arms. And there's been a lot of research published since then. There's no less than three presentations on pregnancy in today's ACIP slides, if you want to look at them. There's no evidence of impaired fertility or pregnancy complications, and no plausible theory for why those would be a thing. It's just a standard antivaxer trope.

Speaking of standard antivaxer tropes, we'll probably see a COVID vaccine approved for infants soon. When that happens, expect to see lots of wailing about "our babies' precious bodies."

Uh huh. You "I hate all politicians" types always seem to only say that about Democrats and never the GOP. You guys are just ashamed of being a fan of the political party of boomers so you just pay lip service about being outraged about them, too

Not always true.

But probably true when it comes to a Pepe avatar and shit about the Jews.

Ironic considering how many goalposts have moved to "Flatten the curve and get back to normal" which never manifests.
It was definitely an error in calculation to underestimate the nearly incalculable stupidity of something like 20% of the population.

"I'm skeptical about the curvature of the Earth." Being a lolcow isn't exactly something to be proud of, nor is being talked about for being one on a forum for doing that much in the way of bait.
