But I'm not sure realpolitik would be helpful in domestic US right now because the adversaries attempting to overthrow our country don't engage in realism. They change the terms they use to define reality and then attempt to beat the rest of us into submission and agreement with their redefined reality, then they repeat the process.

Your questions can all be answered once you accept the truth about the Democrat party of the United States of America, their supporters, their donors and their voters - They consider any and all sins to be absolved in the pursuit of power and the maintenance of their version of reality.
