I used to check the TDS thread almost every day and every day I saw some new faggot crying about how Trump was "literally Hitler" and that keeping kids detained at the border was the modern day Holocaust. So where the fuck are the people screaming at our own government for wanting to label unvaccinated Americans like Jews were in Nazi Germany? I want to see their fucking take on this.
3. And speaking of fucking takes, where are the people who spent the last four years screaming about Russia? You gladly gobbled up rumors about Trump hiring hookers to piss on beds in Moscow but you're oddly silent about the general you openly praised for saying he'd sell us out to Communist China. Where are the journalists who got pulitzer prizes for covering the Trump-Russia collusion narrative? I want to hear those cunts say "We think the highest ranking general in the United States Army meeting privately with the Russians is a good idea."

Never underestimate their spite and their pride. I remember some dude who would agree with a lot of Trump's policies but ultimately said no because Trump was willing to shoot BLM rioters in one of those tweets he did last summer. And then wrote some post about how Biden had survived a speaking disability and it inspired him. He posted for all to see on Facebook.

I have thought over the years about this lunacy given many like that guy unironically hate liberals and faggots but vote for them anyway. The people you're talking about have a mental model of society that is about as complex and nuanced as a comic book (which might explain the popularity of capeshit among that demographic). The TDS afflicted think Nazis were fully aware and cognizant that what they were doing was evil and wrong, and that they took pride in how evil they were. The TDS afflicted think they are superheroes on the side of good and righteousness, therefore they can't be going down the same path as the Nazis, since the Nazis were comic book villains. They can't even acknowledge the idea that Nazis may have genuinely thought they were doing good.

What I have a hard time figuring out is, what would be the "Ws" Biden needs.

Because even if he passes all the infrastructure bill with every single thing the dems want, it is still a long shot if that is going to really work on tangible and fast economic improvement, not to mention the inflation.

So what else is there for Biden? Because some of the policies that could have a short term gain for his problems are not very liberal friendly, more so with the border shit, and if he tries to go full throttle on the left and pack the court to get his way, he will have to deal with the blue dogs.

So, what can he do?

To build on previous answers, nothing at all. Easiest example is the pandemic: Biden's crew originally set that up to be "Mission Accomplished" once the US reached suitable vaccination rates, Fauci could claim herd immunity, and the waves of new outbreaks stopped (or stopped through the power of statistics). Instead? Vaccination rates have plateaued, outbreaks keep happening, and they're left swinging for hail maries like OSHA's vaccine mandate - which still hasn't been introduced btw - that instead of producing some measure of traction has done nothing but further mangle their already beaten-in face.

Same issue with the infrastructure bills, Biden has pinned all his hopes (and political debt repayments) into them. There's nothing which can come after them because failing on them is admitting this congressional session is over legislation-wise - i.e. is now a lame duck session.

The Dems right now are quite literally living in a tempest of their own making, They've failed in all their aspirations, they've screwed up the stuff that should've been easy wins, and they keep doubling down because any admission otherwise will just open the flood gates of infighting. At best they can break even by staunching the bleeding, but even that would take something significant like the Supreme Court fully overturning Roe v. Wade to flip the current midterms script.

First pre-trial hearing the judge threw out a pile of evidence that the DA wanted in and even let the defense slip a questionable bit of evidence in. It's looking like he might walk unless the completely balls up jury selection.
