I was out and about a few days ago around various parts of the UK. I spent time with quite a few people, in various settings, and all was pretty much exactly as it was, back in 2019. I think the only safety measure' thing that might last is the 6 foot distance bit. Mask wearing was a big fat zero apart from a few people in big cities and mostly asian as is their way in polluted places.
Brits aren't much for close contact, compared to some nations who can't help themselves lick each other at every hello/goodbye, and it suits us just fine to have a large gap between each other. Of course; when alcohol is involved our making up ,for the lack of contact, revolts the forrins who just lick each other once/maybe twice at either end of a night out.

The people I met were all between late 20's and early 60's and nobody had 'rona on their minds. More pressing is our Co2 shortage, rising gas prices and collapsing gas providers. I thought i would do some fact finding and asked whoever I was talking to if they had been visited by coronachan, or knew anyone who had. One chap new someone who had a family member croak, but it was the usual sisters-brothers-uncle twice removed, once forgiven and not been part of the family for 10 years story. That was it out of a good 50+ people i spoke to.
Dementia and Cancer, on the other hand......fucking hell!!!. Literally everyone had a father/mother/sister/brother etc who had some kind of cancer, or a level of dementia, or fucking both. Some i spoke to had some type of cancer themselves, or are getting back to normal after having organs removed/radiotherapy/chemo. I have no idea if cancer/dementia is on an upward trend but covid has got alot of hard work to do before it will even get in the traffic jam, to the ball park, compared to cancer/dementia. I can imagine it is on the rise as there are generations getting to the age where exposure to materials and chemicals, in the home and workplace, are going to start taking effect. Whatever the reason, it was alot of people.

I'm not gonna power level about what country I'm living in, but I'm not a local. I feel like I'm the only sane man here when it comes to the "vaccines", lockdowns and everything else related to covid. I've had my family and their friends repeatedly try to cajole me into taking one of the vaccines, and every time they do I politely refuse to their dismay. It's become such a big issue among us because we have a draconian vaccine passport systems that's required for travelling domestically (and potentially internationally), and entering malls and supermarkets.

I've had my movement restricted because I don't want to take something that could cripple or even kill me, and yet I'm looked upon as though I'm on a another planet. and no matter how many cases of vaccine deaths I bring up or the fact that pharmaceutical companies have immunity from legal liability and that said vaccines are still undergoing clinical trials, they're still in denial. Having said that, I respect their decision to get vaccinated, in spite of the many risks it entails, I only ask that they respect my decision not to be.

There has been no semblance of pushback from the people here. It's like lockstep. For them, trusting the system without an ounce of critical thought comes naturally. They've been so thoroughly brainwashed that they can't even recognize the tyranny before them and it's only gonna get worse from here.

More now from Prof Dame Sarah Gilbert, the designer of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, who told a Royal Society of Medicine webinar that Covid-19 will eventually become more like the seasonal coronavirus that cause common colds.

She said: "We normally see that viruses become less virulent as they circulate more easily and there is no reason to think we will have a more virulent version of Sars-CoV-2.

"We tend to see slow genetic drift of the virus and there will be gradual immunity developing in the population as there is to all the other seasonal coronaviruses."

Seasonal coronaviruses cause colds, and Dame Sarah said: "Eventually Sars-CoV-2 will become one of those."

Last I heard they had not. Some Kiwi called OSHA posing as a business owner and said the OSHA people were confused and couldn't give any guidelines. Currently this appears to be a move to put pressure on businesses to mandate vaccines themselves, in which case they've been successful since I actually need to put my money where my mouth is and upload a vaccine passport through the very secure platform of Google Docs lest I be forced to take a test every week (or something like that). I also saw conflicting information from my company over this in the past few weeks probably based on OSHA's confusion but they appear to have settled on a "take the vaxx or get tested every week."

I'm not sure how any of this will work in practice, other than I'm counting on being able to upload an edit of an actual vaxx passport and none of the HR drones caring to investigate. AFAIK, they could cross-reference it against the state vaccine database, but I don't believe the state can't release that info to a company without permission of the person who uploaded it (or the person who's vaxx passport the info is based on). I'm guessing they won't bother checking to see if it's real or not since they're putting in the minimal effort as they do with everything else. I could raise a fuss with HR over the security of the Google Docs form or how I could sue over the consequences of vaccination, but the vaccine cards I have are a few months old and I figure it's better not to look like I'm one of the dreaded antivaxxers and invite more scrutiny.

The Biden administration is pushing for dishonourable discharges and even court martialing for troops who disobey orders to get COVID vaccines.

GOP Representative Mark Green of Tennessee proposed an amendment this week to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that would prohibit “any discharge but honorable” for troops who refuse vaccines.

The White House responded with a statement noting “The Administration strongly opposes section 716,” reasoning that it would “detract from readiness and limit a commander’s options for enforcing good order and discipline when a Service member fails to obey a lawful order to receive a vaccination.”

The statement added “To enable a uniformed force to fight with discipline, commanders must have the ability to give orders and take appropriate disciplinary measures.”

Responding to the statement, Rep. Green said “I am appalled that the Biden Administration is trying to remove my amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that prevents anything but an honorable discharge for service members who refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine.”

Green added “This was a bipartisan amendment — every Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee agreed to it.”

“No American who raises their hand to serve our Nation should be punished for making a highly personal medical decision,” Green previously urged.

Michigan's Gov. Whitmer bans masks and vax mandates as her polls crash and re-election fight looks grim​

Gretchen Whitmer, the governor of Michigan, early on distinguished herself as a pandemic hypocrite, demanding severe lockdowns of her citizens subjects while exempting her family and herself. Her husband was caught boating when she had forbidden ordinary Michiganders to do the same, and she was caught traveling to Florida, violating her own proclamations.
Resentment has grown, and not even an FBI informant–led bogus kidnapping plot has been enough to keep her polls strong as she faces re-election in November 2022. Mary Chastain of Legal Insurrection spotted Whitmer signing legislation that specifically banned the state from enforcing mask mandates and vaccine passports:

Whitmer and the Michigan state legislature agreed on a budget. This is no ordinary budget because it bans mask mandates and vaccine passports:
Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the state legislature have agreed on a budget proposal that includes language banning health officials from enforcing mask mandates in schools and preventing state public agencies from enforcing vaccines on employees or customers.
"The director or local health officer shall not issue or enforce any orders or other directives that require an individual in this state who is under the age of 18 to wear a face mask or face covering," the 1,000-page budget states in one section.

Chastain notes that school districts are still free to enforce mask mandates.
The reason for Whitmer's reversal is not hard to figure out. Her polls stink. The Hill reports on a Trafalgar Group poll that shows her six points behind former Detroit police chief James Craig (who notably kept the peace there as Minneapolis and other cities were burning):
