The finance talk is pretty useless. 340K of mortgage is nothing in the Lower Mainland; How much of it is consumer debt? Does mean that he doesn't have all that much equity in that condo. Might have some though.
Press X to doubt on Scotiabank sending it to legal after one missed payment. They have to pay the lawyers. It only went to legal that fast if there was something else going on.

I don't know the figures off hand but I seem to remember at the beginning of 2021 he hadn't paid much off his mortgage, something like $20K, and had a hefty debt on his credit cards. For a single bloke with no social life, taking no expensive holidays and dressing like a bag of rags he's pretty piss poor with finances.

Slight PL...The only time I was late paying my credit card, a few years back, was for a really low-cost transaction (approx £5.00 iirc, probably why I forgot about it) but hell, the only thing that happened was a letter notifying me of that I would be charged approx £10.00 for the notification. Sounds as though jonny Trump is near enough on skid row with his finances and probably doesn't bother making regular re-payments.

So we know Jonathan Yaniv is a drinker, likely a closet alcoholic. I remember all the booze posts with his brags and working minibooze distribution job he lost. Being a known alchie won't look good for him, as a known violent, unsafe and generally Creeper person. Do alchyies change their taste over time? I recall a lot of foofoo sweet liquors, and speculation that's how he groomed young girls. What do we think he's drinking these days? It would also be easy empty calories, making him fatter, and his insulin fuck ups.
There's a Jack's Hennessey patron Julio shortage, among others. Made me think of this. If Canada rations his booze, what will he do???

Alcohol is taxed so heavily it's twice as expensive in BC as it is over the border in Washington. In fact, importation of alcohol is just about the only thing enforced at the US/Canadian land border. As long as you're not bringing alcohol, tobacco, or firearms they put up with an amazing amount of personal-use smuggling. There are companies that will deliver to your door but at a significant price premium. Then there's beer and wine stores, winery/tasting places, or BC liquor stores.
