You're the dumbest person I've ever talked to. I already told you that
I draw too and I can tell that you don't. I can recognize other people's patterns in their art, which is something that I already mentioned. And just so you can see how utterly stupid you are, I've emailed Alex and here is his response:

If you did then why be a bitch about it lol might have explained how to make a thumbnail.
He might know things about Alex but he clearly doesn't know shit about art lmao.
Alright spergs, listen up! At first i didn't give enough of a shit about this to reply but then the condition became "I'm an artist trust me" so I threw this together. Source: I'm also an artist, trust me.
This girl? Yeah, either mulberry heavily traced her face to a point it was dragged and dropped..or she didn't fucking draw her.

Im only focusing on the face here because thats where the most obvious evidence is, and i downloaded a lot of Mulberrys art for this so you're fucking welcome.
To start, the most blatant proof its not her, the eyes:

These are ALL of Mulberrys eyes from the year of our dev 2021, so they are the most accurate to Mulberrys artstyle. Right away having these side by side should point out you just how different they are from the main image but to lay it out i roughly sketched a copy for better examination.
Mulberry's eyes have hard almost 90° edges in place of the corner of the eye and open spaces where the cornea would be. They are bold and quite classic in terms of anime eyes. Cookiecutter and straight out of a "how to draw manga book". Nothing inherently wrong with that, they're just very standard. Even her more "moe" eyes have those bold edges. The lower lash is also just a simple straight line, with maybe a little curl at the end for a lower lash, but nothing else. Again, all very simple stuff.
The main girls eyes are much more complex, they are more realistic looking in terms of shape, And the upper lash/lid bends to meet the eye as opposed to having a hard edge or just leaving the space open all together. There is only a little bit of space representing the cornea and the separation of the upper and lower lash and thats it. The eye lashes themselves are much more plentiful and sporadic, once again this is more realistic to real life as human eyelashes work the same way. The pupil is also shaded much differently, as mulberry uses very simple 3 color shading, with the main color dropping in the highlight by cutting through the middle (see example) this eye has an outer pupil shine. This is not seen anywhere in Mulberrys art whatsoever. Also there is a sort of hatching style to the shading as opposed to the simple lighter color shine we're used too, and the pupil itself is shaded as well, also never seen in Mulberrys work.

Next is the famous Mulberry nose! This one is easy, firstly, no matter what direction Mulberrys characters are looking in, they almost always have a sideways nose. It happens so often i couldn't find any examples from this year where it was facing forward. What does this mean? Well, when you start learning how to draw a face you realize that alot of the features sort of draw themselves, drawing a face is more about shading rather than drawing. The reason for this is because the more lines you add to a face, to older/more unnerving a face looks. I could add some examples for this but I'm an ArTiSt and you're not so you're just going to have to trust me

. Anyway, thats why anime noses are almost nonexistent, they're cuter that way and easier to fit into the flat character colors. Noses are just implications, i know what a nose looks like and you know what a nose looks like, so i can just draw in a little curve and a dot and your brain will fill in the rest.
That being said, there are artists that don't really know how to work with this or just prefer not to chance it and will try to draw everything in the most cute and minimalist way possible even though that only really works from an angle. Thats why i believe all of Mulberrys noses are from the side, because she can't really draw them facing forward, even though the characters themselves are looking straight at you. The artist that drew the main art however DOES understand this, and was able to capture the basic components of a nose (nostrils, ridge, tip of the nose etc) whilst still keeping it minimal and anime-esque.
Also also, mulberry noses are always short and between the eyes, while the main artist drew a longer bridge thats closer to the mouth. I couldve just said that but then you would've missed me sperging out over drawing noses.
Last but not least, the hair. For starters right off the bat the main art has much more detail in the hair than any of Mulberrys work, the bangs in particular. One could say its to make up for the lack of detail lost by the black and white coloring (and while there is no black and white mulberry image, i searched her gallery) i think thats a stretch as its not in ANY of her images. I highlighted all of the loose hairs and only 2 or 3 popped up on Mulberrys work. This might not mean much to most, but that including the lashes tells me that this artist is more attentive to detail than mulberry is.

My final point, the shading is way different. The whole image is different, but seeing as how theres no official b & w Mulberry art I'll leave the clothes shading up to vfx and the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she could've referenced something. But this is a very specific difference in Mulberrys art. Mulberry uses cell shading, basically its simple anime/cartoon shading. The main image also has it but its very different from Mulberrys stuff. For instance, instead of regular gray there is "hatching" (a shading technique) all over the drawing, noticeably under the chin. Mulberry doesn't have any examples of hatching in any of her work. Something she DOES have in ALL of her works however, is the halo hair shine that alot of anime/anime artists use. Even before 2021 its in EVERY one of her art pieces, boys and girls alike. Even if she was going for something more manga-esque in this photo-just like the nose-its such a staple of her work i can't sesee why she'd change it. Unless if course...she didn't fucking draw it.
In conclusion, did she draw it? Probably not.
Could she have traced it? Yup.
Do i think she drew it? Hell no.
Hope you liked my analysis, maybe ill come around and correct my grammar sometime. Probably not.
