The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Hell Stephen King is still getting movie and TV deals and he has long stopped producing quality work.
Eh, his works are more hit-or-miss these days imo. He said he considers writing to be his job which is why he's written so many books/short stories.

Doctor Sleep wasn't that bad in my opinion.

People really like Cavill too, even if he ends up in unfortunate roles.

Also, why does a tv show need FIVE separate directors?!

The number of directors isn't a bad sign. Game of Thrones had 4 or 5 too each season, and the first couple are top-tier tv. A number to look at though is the producers. When it gets beyond a couple, they become less concerned about making something on budget and more about fucking with stuff they have no business touching.

It still blows my mind self described progressives aggressively defend a game where a troon beats two lesbians nearly to death and expresses joy at the prospect of slitting a pregnant woman's throat. It's so hilariously unwoke but some moderately right wing people hate it so here we go.

The left is anything but consistent. Besides, in the "oppression olympics", trannies clearly have lesbian females literally beaten (just look at the actual olympics). Leftists dont try to explain their hypocrisy, only to work around it with gas lighting and how about isms. Ultimately they dont care but they love to act like they fucking do A LOT, because it makes them feel better about themselves for "standing up" for a cause, it gives dopamine and quiets the voice in their brains that call them useless existentially invalid fucks.

They are living in lalaland and they will fight tooth and nail to stay there. When you live a life of lies, those that speak the truth will be your eternal enemy.

Cavill does like his fans and respects his detractors...seems like basic human decency is so scarse nowadays that a little bit of it is enough to buy people over (which is actually really sad...)

Most of his works are the book equivalent of fast food. Sure, you are reading something but far from something that sticks with you like something from Lovecraft or other amazing horror writers that dont get enough love.

Also, he is an insufferable fuck. Im sorry but he is. He has a huge ego and he acts like people give a shit about his politican opinions (he once told Trump to "go float yourself"...how fucking old is he?), one of the replies kicked him in the ass when it said "This is coming from the guy that wrote sequence where kids have an orgy in a sewer after killing a clown."

Yeah well if you want the game to truly die you have to stop talking about it.

Like Glover, nobody gives a fuck about Glover. People don't even mention it in conversation. Oh and don't go "but the quality was bad that means he can't make anymore", how many movies has M.Night Shamlamadingdong made since his first bomb? We're well into 10 movies.

Hell Stephen King is still getting movie and TV deals and he has long stopped producing quality work.

Not that simple, to be fair. Its the type of "We can just vote them out" logic, sounds good on paper but it doesnt work because the people behind these things dont follow the rules.

So many franchises hit the shitter and yet they are doubling down on it, if not TRIPLING down on it. Star Trek hasnt been good since 2009, flop after flop after flop...and yet we are still going.

People gotta realise that these maniacs arent after your money, not anymore, they are after your children and your future and controlling entertainment is two birds one stone type of deal.

That'll be $22.95 for an Adult Small through XL.
2XL: $24.95.
3XL: $26.95.
And 4XL: $29.95...or at least they would be if they weren't the only T-Shirt size on backorder.

EDIT: Holy fuck, I know their shit is overpriced, but:

...the hell do you get off, Sony? $36 for a JPEG LOGO MUG of one of your worst titles :story:
And it's on SALE.
It usually goes for $44. I will never understand the Sony consoomer mindset.
EDIT 2: https://gear.playstation.com/Product/1526059-The_Last_of_Us_Part_II_Pendleton_Throw_Blanket
$112 for a throw blanket, again, on sale. My God.
EDIT 3: And of course the only good thing there, the guitars are worth $3,100. I don't even wanna look at how much those picks cost.

God this is laughably low effort. Half of it is generic crap you could get off some mass production website that allows you to upload photos to anything, the other half is shit probably taken straight out of an Eddie Bauer clothing catalog with the labels changed and generic words that spell out 'The Last Of Us" on it. I've gotten way better shit out of Lootcrate back when I was dumb enough to subscribe to it for a few months.

Hope you're ready to see Mandalorian's head get golf clubbed off

Given the premise of the TLOU zombies, the idea this kind of plane crash could happen is hilariously stupid. AFAIK, the zombies don't instantly turn and thus cause mass hysteria which would thus leave a plane to crash at all. Second, for a plane to break up and yet still remain all grouped together like that? You see that kind of shit when a plane makes a (relatively) controlled rough landing that makes terrain impact as the force of the impact is what splits the plane apart, and it wouldn't be on top of a fucking hill.

Additionally, planes just don't ROT like an organic carcass. How long has it been since the fall of civilization, two or three decades? Yeah, there are planes that are still sitting around for longer without any kind of maintenance whatsoever (and I'm not talking desert boneyards) and are still largely intact if entirely unairworthy. At the abandoned Nicosia International Airport in Cyprus, there still sits the ruined but still intact airframe of a Hawker Trident, only missing its engines because those were removed at the time it was abandoned when the whole country went to shit due to war in 1974. As in, 50 years ago, and that thing is still there on its own landing gear.

The only way that you would get a plane to look wrecked the way in the above image is if it was blown up by explosives on the ground. Which is, of course, absurd, because of the way it's parked on the hill is so dumb and nobody would (or even could) park a plane of that size there.

This crap is off to a fantastic start, isn't it?

In regards to TLOU2's Multiplayer, according to Naughty Dog, they are still "working on it":

It also doesn't look good that they're still trying to hire people for development for this said feature.
TLOU2 multiplayer confirmed to actually be Goodbye Volcano High. They'll come out at the exact same time: NEVER.

Christ, what the fuck? Over a year after launch and still only a generic "we're working on it" message? :story:

Edit: Also, I like how they shield this total non-announcement with MUH DIVERSITY and MUH AWARDS!!!

Maybe the plane got shot down? It could have been in the air on outbreak day, and the military shot it down in an attempt to prevent further spread of the outbreak and the pilot attempted to go down as easy as he possibly could considering the circumstances. That's my best guess, but I'm no plane crash expert, lol.

What if the plane represents the Plot of The last of us 2 and the Pilot rammed it into the ground on purpose?

It's supposed to be that the zombie outbreaks happened on a plane, but post 9-11 all planes have doors on them that pretty much isolate the pilot and co-pilot, so it would have to be one of them who came down with the sickness.

Planet of the Apes did something similar showing that the Ape Born Virus spread via international travel quickly due to planes.

Finally got around to buying this game, been forever since I'd played the first one and didn't read reviews or anything so going in blind.

Graphics and physics are amazing, and loved the story. As with every naughty dog game I've played in the HD era, the cut scenes and voice acting, just phenomenal.

F for Joel though, that was brutal, but also that was a super ballsy move and a really creative way to introduce Abby, who ended up being an awesome character that I absolutely loved. Her revenge arc was perfect and fit the tone and theme of this series so well. Seriously though, that was brave as fuck of them with that twist, but it was awesome.

All in all a super great game that I had a ton of fun playing and was definitely worth the wait.
