Azealia Banks laid into Lizzo on Twitter, saying that she was wasting her talent by leaning into a Black Mammy stereotype for the entertainment of fat spoiled white women and honestly, that assessment was so on point, I feel like it should be the last word on Lizzo.

I want to spend a day just browsing the farms alongside azealia just for her reactions to some of the threads on here. I mean she's a lolcow herself, but when she isn't doing shit like killing chickens and posting videos about it she has some interesting takes like this. Feel like she's actually intelligent and just using the edgelord shit as a persona

Slightly late but my phone is stupid and didn’t show that Lizzo taking a shit TikTok preview window until I clicked it. (I also somehow didn't realize that the "morning poop" caption was for that vid, but what can I say? I'm pretty stupid.) It’s been awhile since I gagged that hard from something on the Farms. What the fuck made her think that that was okay to post for millions to see? I always thought that Lizzo was gross and untalented. Really wouldn't mind if she got a thread of her own. Is she washed up enough yet?

I'm not really a pop music kind of gal for the most part ... But Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia album is an absolute banger (save for the last two tracks, which I do not enjoy). Turns out I enjoy modern pop music if it sounds like it came from the 70's and 80's, haha.

Dua Lipa's music videos for the album have been awesome, too. For starters, the live action and the anime music videos for the song "Levitating" are just so damn sparkly, happy, and cute.

Compare the quality of Dua Lipa's video's to the absolute cringe of Lizzo's. There's "camp," and there's "cringe." I think that Lizzo tries for camp, but always excels are producing cringe.

What's funny is that Lizzo complains all of the time on how people perceive her. Um, bitch? Have you seen how you act in public? You're an attention whore who literally posts videos of herself taking shits and eating giant burritos while moaning. If you want people to think you're not disgusting, then ... Oh, I don't know ... Don't do those things?

People loved Adele when she was fat. Lots of men thought she was attractive, too. Talent, class, and a good personality matter. It's almost like if you're not an insufferable person on the inside, then most people don't really care if you're a tad overweight. Crazy, I know.

Reading though this thread has been an absolute ride.
Seeing such staples in the Deathfat circle like Amy and LifebyJen getting their start here and growing (sideways lol) enough to get their own threads was a fantastic experience
Reading through the horryfing and lunacy content in this thread leads to the inevitable conclussion that most of these fats are pretty much the same shitty person with different fat distribution. Most of these could be interchanged and most wouldn't notice anything different

If Dua Lipa blew up to Lizzo's size, she'd still be a very succesful artist with the stuff she makes. But if Lizzo were thin, she'd have no career, because her music is just kinda shit. Her live singing in those tiktoks is just painful. And she doesn't even have the charisma that some artists who aren't the best singers have that make up for it.

This isn't the 90s ana-chan culture, there is more body diversity than ever before in popculture - although it might be more difficult for a fat girl to get into pop music, it's clearly not impossible. I can't believe Lizzo is still coasting on mediocre at best music while there must be fat female singers out there that make good stuff. I really want her to go away.

The Fat Acceptance Movement is nothing more than hugbox dependence and science denial. It's just a group of fat people who have given up on dieting after the constant cycle binging and dieting and binging that they gave up on themselves and decided that their insecurities come from people not accepting them. It's a fucking joke.

Like, they don't understand the dichotomy that represents their entire movement: they talk about how important it is to love yourself despite being fat, but they don't love themselves enough to take care of their bodies and lose the weight, keep the weight off, and live healthy lives. Instead, they choose to live in constant denial of any real facts and science surrounding obesity and the benefits of weight loss. In all the time these people wastes in advocating for "fat acceptance", they could plan workout routines, change their eating habits, and improve upon their willpower. That movement is an utter joke.

Hmm, I dk about that. I've seen my 600 Ib life, almost all of themorbidly obese participants have a partner, siblings, offspring, etc. A family that cares about them to some degree, sure they're enablers but then I'm sure they will be sad if they died. I always felt bad for the kids on that show, because they had to take care of their parents at a young age and they didn't choose that life.

They're meal prepping in single-use containers with her husband, which seems like a waste of money in the long-run. Oh and she mentions that her sister has started a YT channel too - she owns a bakery.

They both have no common sense when it comes to budgeting. They're lucky her husband works in the military still. Otherwise, they'd struggle financially when they have to pay actual rent. I'm interested in seeing her sister's channel just to see if there's any contrast between them.

Not true, there are some vegans who look good. You just gotta find them. This is off-topic but a lot of people with disordered eating/anorexics specifically end up going vegan as an excuse to not eat food. Veganism is more restrictive than most diets, and because it's seen as an ethical movement people will respect you for not wanting to eat animals. Anorexics know this and they use veganism to turn down food, it's really that sim[ple. Also, being vegan doesn't make you healthy. You can eat a pack of Doritos, cinnamon toast crunch cereal, and Oreos every day and still be vegan. A whole food plant-based diet is what's gonna make you healthy if you're vegan.

She definitely sounds pitchy in some parts of her live singing. She needs voice coaching lessons. I wonder why her label didn't just provide a music coach for her?! Ariana Grande used to sound pitchy too at the start of her career, and she improved tremendously because she had voice coaching lessons. Also, one thing is clear, Lizzo you're not a pop star. You're more suited for a jazz artist who sings at pups and bars than you are a pop star. Idk you just have no stage presence. Her dancing is atrocious, I'm sure it has a lot to do with her weight, but then she can't do a simple choreography to dance to her own single. I'm sure she is a choreographer's nightmare too. They will be limited to a handful of moves and they will have to make it extra short to accommodate her. She needs dancing lessons too if she wants to take her persona as a pop star more seriously. You can't just shake your ass and call it dancing, this is not how it works. So many things are needed for her to just be better, yet she is doing nothing at all. She had 4 years to work on these issues, what else could she be doing? She is a full-time pop star, this is her job. Her latest music video was atrocious, she took the idea from TikTok and it's not even well-executed. Cardi B couldn't save that choreography because she's pregnant! I'm sure Lizzo is probably difficult to work with, her label probably warned her but she refused to listen to them. So, yeah she will be dropped soon. This is Hollywood, if you're not making them enough money they will drop you. Also, she hasn't been touring lately, I guess she still has that card to play. However, she doesn't seem interested in touring anytime soon.
