Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

2022 National Defense Authorization Act passed the House with 135 (R) votes (this is the bill with the red flag law in it). Now it goes onto the Senate, but Gun Owners of America and some Representatives who voted no are making a big fuss about it so I am (maybe optimistically) expecting it to get blocked in the Senate. Remember that the Democrats attempted to do something similar to this last year and failed.
So much for a red wave, funny enough the 75 nos are similar to when they were trying to get rid of Liz Cheney the first time and it was like 70 odd people who wanted her gone.

A lot of primary challenges are needed to get rid of these soft fat pigs that larp as Rambo defending the constitution from the moonbats and owning the libs.

The dumbass in the White House just spread more lies about the Border Patrol. He claimed they were running down Haitians with the horses. Now watch the attacks on law enforcement escalate while the corrupt press ignores or downplays them.
Then they wonder why their footsoldiers aren't willing to enforce their ever lunacy-inducing laws.

I had the same thoughts. Cuomo, for all his narcissism. is actually pretty moderate in terms of current year dem ideology. He would virtue signal from time to time but it was only a self preservation act. The reality is, he really wasn't that bad of a governor and NY will suffer tremendously now that some stupid bitch is in charge.
And here I thought New Yorkers pretty much hated Cuomo for his corruption. Or am I mixing him up with de Blasio?

If you see all those groups high risk and old are literally dead weight on the medical and retirement system they are also the people who will trust enough the medical establishment to take them

This is literally thinning the herd level shit. THEY realized they can't force the populance into taking it forever and they settle for killing off the frequent flyers . Well medical stuff kiwi rejoice 600 pound landwhales wil be thing of the past soon for at least several years till the new calfs matures.
Btw this is response to the person who posted this and turned off quotes.

New Yorkers hated Cuomo because (1) he is an asshole and (2) politics is a family business. His father Mario was also governor.

Cuomo wasn't center by any means, but the new chick is definitely more left than Cuomo in the same way Twitter is more left than Bernie.

As is the case in many states, Jew York is divided between its urban and rural populations. Once you get away from the metropolitan areas, most people are center right. That being said, Cuomo did a decent enough job not to completely piss these people off while he was governor. De Blasio, on the other hand, is pretty much hated by everyone except niggers in nyc as he's viewed as an honorary for marrying an ugly sheboon. I guess no one really liked Cuomo per se but he was pro business and didn't spend much time kvetching about fringe social issues, as far as I know.

How in the world does Biden keep on going lower and lower? Caving everywhere, pissing off allies, existing and potential.

Were his handlers trying to score a small win on the backs of the border agents in light of the border disaster? Are they truly grasping at straws?

Do they think that Canada won't remember how they threw them under the bus for Meng?

New York is an extreme case as the city absolutely dominates the rest of the state. Same with Chicago and Illinois.

Once you venture outside the city, you can see a beautiful land and people clearly neglected by the metropole. Fly-over states? More like fly-over counties.

From what I remember this was supposed to be the scandal that forces Biden to step down. It's been intentionally chosen as part of demoralization, Biden is going to be punished for this rather than murdering a bunch of Marines with his incompetence.

Will it still happen? Let's see.

The landwhales will get the communism diet, comrade.

Its a slow, slow boil of a frog, designed to erode and destroy firearm ownership until the number of people that own, operate, and appreciate the rights to keep and bear are so small that they have no political power and at that point the 2nd will be buried under enough weaselly rulings that the few guns legally still in circulation will be easily gathered up and all their remaining owners shot by police drones.
so basically it is working exactly as well as the war on drugs?

the only effective government action that I'm aware of that has actually reduced people's range time was pretty much an accident - the DMV slowdown made it difficult for people to get ID, and everything *but* firearm sales and hunting licenses started accepting expired ID, and people just assumed it worked that way when they wanted to do their yearly bear hunt or whatever and showed up to get a new hunting rifle with their stimulus check and their tags and got told no sorry you need actual unexpired ID, and they got redneck mad and went home and drove 300 miles to the closest DMV with appointments.

otherwise everyone has more guns and shoots more. way, way, way, way more.

This is most of the country really, all the coastal blue states are just blue cities surrounded by red. Oregon is another perfect example with Portland being a cancerous brain tumor in the north, while the majority of the state is a deep red.

Definitely making friends of the deep state and media, guys. A+

Vice President Kamala Harris’ scheduled live appearance on “The View” was delayed Friday morning after two co-hosts tested positive for the coronavirus, their colleague Joy Behar told the show’s viewers.

Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro were vaccinated against COVID-19 and apparently experienced “breakthrough” infections, Behar said.

Both women left the set, which was cleaned during an unplanned commercial break, she said.

Behar and co-host Sara Haines then repeatedly stalled for time by taking questions from the audience while arrangements were being made to have Harris appear remotely from a room inside the building.

“The Secret Service is doing things to make her feel safe,” Behar said.

To make her "feel" safe.

This is a much bigger concern than the short-sighted DC fucksticks realize. Pre-2019, essentially no one in the US would second-guess FDA or CDC policies. Now, I'm guessing most people have questions after watching the wild swings or overreaches in policy, ESPECIALLY from the CDC. Same for NIH research and it's now-overtly political manlet fossil leader.

These were not meant to be political groups, and the breach of trust is costly now and will be for years to come unless sanity is somehow re-introduced. Which I see no path for currently.

Same for the FBI. Once a paragon of integrity, the FBI is now little more than a cross between the NKVD and the Keystone Kops, no longer worthy of respect. Almost puked last night listening to the young female gymnasts describe their treatment at the hands of the FBI in the Nassar case.

The House Passes Bill Meant To Counter Texas-Style Abortion Bans

The U.S. House on Friday approved a bill that Democrats say will protect a person's access to abortion.

Passage of the Women's Health Protection Act to floor is a response to a Texas law that essentially bans abortion after six weeks, before most people realize they are pregnant. The U.S. Supreme Court refused to block the law from taking effect, although the decision leaves the door open for future challenges.

The bill passed the House mainly along party lines, 218-211, with one Democrat voting with Republicans. The vote was largely symbolic as the bill is unlikely to advance in the Senate, where 10 Republicans and all Democrats would need to back the bill in order to meet the 60-vote threshold.

The Senate version of the bill, sponsored by Connecticut Democrat Richard Blumenthal, has 47 co-sponsors, although it's unlikely to to garner the support of Pennsylvania Democrat Bob Casey, who has previously voted for abortion restrictions, and West Virginia moderate Joe Manchin.

The Women's Health Protection Act would protect a person's ability to decide to continue or end a pregnancy and would enshrine into law health care providers' ability to offer abortion services "prior to fetal viability" without restrictions imposed by individual states, like requiring special admitting privileges for providers or imposing waiting periods.

It also prohibits restrictions on abortion after fetal viability "when, in the good-faith medical judgment of the treating health care provider, continuation of the pregnancy would pose a risk to the pregnant patient's life or health."

Republicans argued that the bill goes too far, essentially limiting a state's ability to regulate or restrict abortions.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi vowed to bring the bill to the floor after Texas enacted its bill earlier this month. In a statement, Pelosi said legislation is "the most extreme, dangerous abortion ban in half a century, and its purpose is to destroy Roe v. Wade, and even refuses to make exceptions for cases of rape and incest. This ban necessitates codifying Roe v. Wade."

Rep. Judy Chu, D-Calif., first introduced the Women's Health Protection Act in 2013, when Republicans were in control of the House.

"Now is the chance," she told MSNBC earlier this month, noting that Democrats have the votes in the House and President Biden's support.

"We have had Roe v. Wade in effect for 50 years. We have been protected by that," she described. "It wasn't until 2011, [when] we saw states pass these medically unnecessary laws — which dictated the width of clinic doors and forced doctors to have medically unnecessary admitting privileges or where they required an ultrasound — that we saw that we just have to get the Women's Health Protection Act in place, so that ... we weren't playing whack-a-mole with each of these states and their laws."

The courts may still play a role. The Department of Justice is suing Texas, saying the state enacted its law "in open defiance of the Constitution."

The real thing that matter to the government!

The FBI's first director was J Edgar Hoover, it was never a paragon of integrity.
