It's like a combination of his stubbornness, his blind comprehension of pride, his greed for consoomerism and his desire to pig out on as many things as he possibly can during his off time.

He's run into the ground of how absolutely jealous people must be of him and his successes in life, but whenever I hear him throw around that line of reasoning, it almost sounds like he wants people to feel jealous by reinforcing this idea that he's not actually a bit if a cunt and selfish scumbag, but that trolls and haters are genuinely seething with hatred and rage at Phil's living situation right now.

If this is indeed the case then I think all the gin and other alcohol has reversed his brain thinking like he did back in 2011, there isn't anything wrong about how he conducts himself or how he presents his content in any fashion, but he's surrounded by haters pushing fake narratives that he openly hates his audience, hates playing games that present even the slightest bit of challenge and hates people telling him how to improve his content (his mentality hasn't truly grown that much, even though he likes to parade around this idea that he's this muhture aduhlt, it's rather very far from the truth).

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that Dave has been for the most part completely isolated from the outside world for 10+ years, he has no close friends, doesn't interact with strangers (excluding liquor store cashiers) so there's nobody to really challenge his opinions or world view, letting the narcissism and general delusion of being this mathur adhult tough-guy run rampant, couple that with a serious victim complex and you've got one shitty pigroach.

I also love that he said people have been reaching out "behind the scenes" thanking him for keeping the drama off of the stream and continuing on with business as usual . Riiighhhtt that's why tips have been incredibly low. Ask those people to tip then.

Finally I love that he thinks everyone who has shared the leaked information or talked about it are "going to be in trouble too" so everyone who shared the Snowden leaks are all in prison? No. It went public and everyone saw it. there is even an entire movie on it. I guess the director, producer, and actors are all in jail now right ? (and that was the fucking CIA...not a shitty streamer with less than 200 viewers bank documents)

Phil exaggerates everything. The bank probably told him to get a police report. He got one (probably took 20 minutes on the phone) they filed it away and aren't going to investing this deeply.

He is bankrupt so he doesn't have tons of credits to call to fix anything. He doesn't have chargebacks to do to clean up his account, etc.

He had 3 calls. His bank. The police. And his lawyer. All of them likely didn't make him feel special but he needs to act like he is part of this huge investigation. Laughable.

You wanna know the truth because Im an honest guy. Heres the truth if the matter. Why he is being shady is he called his lawyer who handled his bankruptcy she likely advises him not to speak on this to anyone as it's incriminating.

He's got himself caught between his ego and wanting to be pitied, so he can get more moolah. He can't admit to his addiction because it means admitting we were right all along. But he couldn't continue to ignore this (this is in his mind, it would've been smarter to continue to North Korea his chat) as it was spreading. He's lost complete control over this and was desperately hoofing for a grasp for the narrative.

He'd be much worse off with admitting everything. His pity narrative had been that his "bills" are too much and admitting to spending thousands on a mobile game, something he has regularly degraded, would destroy it. There would be no justification for his begging.

Remember that what he said about he leaks cost him some smaller paypigs. Imagine how much chaos a bigger lie would cause in the sty. There's also the concern over how his admittance could affect his bankruptcy, because you know an a-log or hundred would be reporting him for fraud. It'd be too dangerous for him to admit it.

Yeah thats a good point, if anyone who knows nothing about this situation was shown him crying for tips to pay his mortgage and for groceries for years and then shown his bank records, they would think phil is a giant scumbag.

Holy autism. No. Definitely not. SB has shown up trolling him in games and has been in voicechats on other channels if I remember correctly. Also, Phil genuinely hates all detractor content, his rationalization for his dire finances, his fall from YT glory is that it is all caused by trolls. It's an integral part of his cope to believe the detractors have absolutely ruined his life and prevented him from being bigger than Pewdiepie.

I remember Snort Burnell actually being a girl (not a guy) and a true detractor. I know where your head is at because wings had deals with detractors (and said he was Sean Ranklin himself) but I don't believe this to be the same case,
