His still going to give it a glowing review. Can't wait :story:
Man I don't know. This isn't Star Wars or Transformers or some other disposable thing he pretends to care about. This Super Mario. This is the thing that Bob admits to defining him. He dedicated his book to Shigro Miyamoto for saving Bob because Miyamoto blessed Bob with Mario. This is an attack on Bob himself, at least that's how I believe Bob views it. Everybody gangsta till their sacred cow gets spit roasted. I look at his infamous Pixels review and how he spent shy of ten minutes cursing his gods, we obsoletes call corporations, for insulting him and his retro games so. Even Nintendo doesn't get away because they allowed Donkey Kong to be in it. I really think he's going to continue to do these passive aggressive swipes at the actors and Illumination until more of the movie gets revealed and then the cope will not be able to contain the salt.

What will probably break him, and since we live in a post merge world it's the only thing that makes sense, is if this big movie with all it's stars and all their accolades fails to make more money than the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, a movie that opened in February and was right on the cusp of the world shutting down.

And we haven't seen ONE shot of this movie yet. I don't even think there's concept art save for maybe a teaser poster. We don't even know what the plot is gonna be. I'm trying to decide in my head if it would be better or worse if it'll be like the latest Jumanji movies and all the actors are sucked into the game and are trying to get out.

Hey! Remember when people like Bob and Lindsay mocked the people who were upset by 2016 Ghostbuster AFTER the trailers came out?

lol what a year that was.

Or when people hated the Star Wars movies, before and after, because they disrespected the franchise

Sucks when something you like gets treated like trash don't it Bob? Sucks when you find out that both your beloved IP and you are nothing more than products don't it Bob? Sucks when the shoe is on your one remaining foot don't it Bob?

Just remember Bob, Nintendo willfully sold the rights to make this movie to the people who made Minions

Let'sa fucking go
Honestly if Bob were smart (I can’t finish that sentence with a straight face), he should’ve expected Nintendo to go this route especially with their collaborations with Ubisoft. Nintendo views Mario as a family friendly series and would take a comedic route.

Unlike the people who were mad at Ghostbusters 2016 and the Sequel Trilogy, Bob wanted something for Mario that it wasn’t. He views Mario as an epic or a deep political thriller that is subtle. Bob basically took Mario’s story super seriously which is hilarious since it’s super basic. Granted Mario had serious stories in the RPGs, but Bob loved the “story” in Mario 3 when there wasn’t any

MovieBob is the only person that I know of who's reaction to the cast of the Mario movie is piss and vinegar. Everyone else was laughing.
Well there is his flock of angels that are salty about Chris Pratt getting the lead role. Tbf they are angles so they probably don't count.

The only other people mad were Twittertards mad that Chris Pratt got more work. Bob however took the entire cast as a personal attack and confirmed his fears Nintendo is taking a comedic route

Because that's such a disrespectful route for an adaptation of a deep politicial thriller about a bouncy plumber stomping mushroom monsters to save a pretty princess from a fire-breathing turtle.

You see a bouncy plumber stomping mushroom monsters to save a princess, Bob sees a special forces agent rescuing a VIP from the enemy amid a huge mushroom monster vs. slightly less threatening mushroom monster war that the rest of us are somehow missing.
It might still be in the OP, but for yuks, here's his take on SMB3's plot:
In fact, given that both sides of the conflict are delegating the war-fighting to subordinates this time around, SMB3 marks the first clear delineation of the Troopa/Mushroom conflict as a long-term military conflict rather than mere isolated attacks by Bowser. Left unmentioned in the written story but implicit in the game itself is that Bowser has amassed a mechanized military force for this particular engagement, outfitting his children with heavily-armed Airships and protecting his own Kingdom with tanks, jets, and battleships.

Poor Bob, so much of his identity growing up believing to be Mario’s friend, yet Hollywood and Culture keeps walking all over that friendship. Bobs poor brain was broken upon learning Mario has become voiced by a Bible thumper.

I wish Bob would reconnect with his 08-11 self. He was a calm, insightful professor-like.

It reminds me of that youtube parody movie called Mario Call of Duty. But that series was made to be over the top and silly (hell you had CoD and MGS characters appear in it)

God forbid a movie about a 4'0 plumber in red overalls going on a magical adventure to beat a fat dragon be a comedy.

Bob was never insightful. As the regulars of this thread already know Blobert was always a retarded mong and his videos were always just him talking at mach-5, because if you actually slowed it down or paid attention, blob either had nothing to say besides the obvious or was outright retarded like CoD was an Arab Killing simulator
E:To add onto that if it weren't for gamergate, then Trump's election would've shown everyone the true face of the hateful tub of lard

I had forgotten about it until this morning but @Koby_Fish found a video last December where some guy referenced an early Bob video. I went and archived it and I honestly think it's worth a watch for any Bobologist, especially in talking about the upcoming Mario movie.
I wanna highlight the second vid that he wants us to watch.

I don't recommend that you watch Bob's vids, as they're insufferable, but I do recommend people check this one out.

A few take aways:
  • You can hear at certain points where he speeds up the audio for reasons only he understands. It's the drone of his PC fan suddenly pitch shifting
  • He kinda defends video games from feminism
  • Mutha fuca full names Peach like a world 6 BOSS
  • Treats all Mario games as some sort of freakish, in universe cannon
  • Treats the lore of Super Mario Galaxy with the same reverence as The Bible and thus proves that it's truly female empowering because Rosalina is the Mushroom Kingdom's version of God who is somehow foiled by a big turtle with hair but never mind that
In my personal opinion this is far more cringey and hilarious than his Miyamoto saves my childhood in a dream vid.
Bob takes Mario so seriously that he invented an in universe theology that I have zero problems believing that he believes it's cannon.

A W and a L

He would've if Yoshi's Island didn't change where Mario came from if he had another couple years. Reminder that Bob was 15 when he had this mental breakdown and quit gaming in a tearful and buttery rage at the time.
Bob's so unimaginative that he can't even do like most spergs do (like me lol) and have his own headcannon where it's like a AU (Alternate Universe) where Mario is from Brooklyn while this other "universe" of Mario with Yoshi's Island is its own separate parallel reality. I'm guessing he either missed out on the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Parallels" (worf kept shifting between different quantum realities after hitting a Quantum Fissure with the shuttlecraft he was riding in) or missed the point completely.

BTW anyone wanting to watch the video, don't click on the attachment in Ralph's quote there, click the arrow that will take you to his post with the video in it, or it'll hit error not found.

You say that, but I'd like to remind you that this exists:
