I think at some point in the thread I posted a picture of the AH crew all holding up framed, autographed pictures of LeVar as Gordi from TNG, and it was very telling that instead of trying to talk to Mica more or even having her on camera doing literally anything, or just trying to have her be more of a member of AH, they just showed off those pictures in a really cringy group moment.

Instead, two moments stand out in mind beyond her rant: when she was being coerced by the members of the "Finger Me" podcast (Always Open) to give up her ex girlfriend's dox to humiliate her for saying "I don't want to fuck you anymore", and an RTAA where she tells the same podcast about the time her dad stuck his phone in a microwave to dry it. There was also the other RTAA where she meant the voice actors for FF15 but who really gives two shits about that?

Compared to RT, Linus Media Group is 100x more professional in the way they do things. In a normal job, you don't just throw someone into a managerial role when they were hired for something simple, they gradually work towards it, through training and shit (if they so choose). The way LMG does things is better because it allows the new hires to develop their skills in front of the camera gradually. Throwing someone in front of the camera on their first day and saying "Be entertaining" is not as easy as you may think. You're just gonna get another Fiona or Ky on your hands.

The comparison to OneyPlays is not really fair, since LMG and RT are big companies, while OneyPlays is just a let's play channel. Big companies do things differently... well, not RT. I wouldn't trust anyone there to manage even a fucking lemonade stand.

Didn't he appear in like 2017-2018 or something? That's how I found out about him. I would never see him taking the job though. He liked NYC too much, plus his mom was there and he wanted to be close by.

With Fiona, you end up with a parrot who can't come up with an original joke to save her life. Her only show that she had control of was about explaining internet memes to the AH crew. Ky... cannot shut up enough to not be a liability cause good God the vile nonsense she spews is insane (see: Insalubrious Off Topic highlights).

I think they handed Mica a job as head of streaming for AH when they first brought her but she was actually so terrible at it that Ryan and Jeremy had to take over for her. That's when they moved her to being a more onscreen talent for AH and The Know or whatever god forsaken show she was put at the forefront of.

Shockingly though, the blatant nepotism hire with no talent other than slithering out of the ball sack of Geordi La Forge didnt work out and it even blew up in their faces so badly with her crying racism being the reason no one liked her.

For all the shit about Mica, at least she seemed to wake up to the idea that RT were more interested in her father than her.

Fiona is the embodiment of a missed opportunity, not her of course she's doing the literal best she can (And it's still this bad) but of what she represents.

See there was a week or so where they'd been putting two semi famous black content creators in videos, shofu from the pokemon community and Etika, it was clear they were reaching out the feelers and trying to hire them and if they did it would have been a 10/10 choice both had great chemistry with the group and both brought a ton of energy to the videos they where in. Sadly Etika went off the deep end and shofu said no so they went with Fiona a friend of Etika and probably someone he recomended to them as a "Well if you're not going to hire me look into this person they need work."

Imagine living in the timeline where Shofu and Etika are in videoes, the only downside I could see is that Jeramay would somehow become even more of a Wigger.

Considering she exploited the BLM movement from last year's protests to suddenly come out and say "RT is wacist". I honestly also think it only got as big an issue as well because Geoff, Jeremy, and Barb acquiesced to her and Fiona's whims. Hell, I wouldn't be shocked if they conspired to do it. And now you got Michael and Lindsey sucking up to Fiona and now Ky because they now don't have a choice in doing so.

Gavin and Michael released the second part of their Play Pals in Cursed Halo earlier today. I just finished watching it, and though I enjoyed it, I don't think it was as enjoyable as the first part. This time, they only played through the third level, and to be fair, that mission is a lot of closed corridors. It was still plenty of fun though, and the last few minutes or so were especially funny.

Sounds like it could have happened. At the same time, Mica could have used the “they were only interested in my father’s good graces” any time she wanted. The racism thing would have just been an added shot at the people who wronged her.
