I had a bowl of spaghet and I was wondering, does phil sell his spaghet sauce for people to try? I imagine with how often he's eating out now that there's got to be plenty of sauce lying around not getting used

Yeah, I genuinely can't tell if I think this is hilarious or pathetic because he sounds so fucking serious and, if he is, that is such a level of piteous sadness that I can't comprehend it. I wonder if he considers this one of the 'normal adult human' trials and tribulations he always talks about where he takes one of the most minor and commonplace occurrences that could happen to a person in the course of a day (getting a bad fast food burger *GASP*) and harps on it as though it is some unique and interesting experience that anybody without the benefit of Phil's many adult human years of wisdom and hardships would be completely mystified by.

This is typical DSP though, and it's honestly one of the reasons I've started to get so triggered over his recent detractor rants because it's all such transparent and overcompensatory bluster. He's SO scarred by this completely normal experience but, for some reason (maybe there was a black or even TWO inside, scary!), he can't walk back in the place and handle it right then and get a replacement with what I would imagine would be very little to do about it since it happens at fast food places literally every day. Instead, he chooses not only to just go hungry rather than eat such a revolting thing at the time of this momentous incident, but chooses to also then spend DAYS communicating with fucking Burger King customer service and regaling us all with this tale of woe.

When he talks about detractors though, boy he is a very assertive individual! There's NOTHING he won't say, no insult he won't throw out, and no name he won't call, and it just reeks of so much desperation and faux tough guy bullshit, when the reality is that his life is literally dictated to him by this bogeyman caricature of detractors he's invented.

It's a big part, but it's not JUST laziness that keeps him on his couch. This clown literally will not leave his house more than the very absolute minimum required in order to survive because he is so paranoid and fearful of what kind of confrontation he may get in. I 100% would not want someone to fuck with Phil in real life, tempting as it would be, oh GOD how tempting. Seriously though, if some rabid and wild-eyed detractor saw DSP out in public and did something completely innocuous like just yelling, from far away, at him, 'DSP GET A JOB', I think the guy would be at a legitimate risk of having a fucking aneurysm.

tl/dr: This dude is a colossal and irrationally paranoid pussy in almost any and every real-world interaction he has to the point that he will avoid it if there is literally ANY other option (cost no issue, of course), but sits there and blusters every day about what pieces of shit detractors are and how HE runs his stream and HE'S the boss and fuck you, and it is really reaching new levels of fucking annoying.

I've always been curious what made Phil so salty in this video. Obviously he has a long career of getting mad at computer games but this has to be the angriest he's ever gotten and I don't really understand why. If OIC is permanently gone, at what tip level (i.e. consistent $30 streams) will Phil seriously consider making changes? Pre-bankruptcy it was fairly frequent he would get $10-$20 and there wasn't any twitter posting or (much) moaning about it.

I see it that we are all in different levels of hell and Phil is at the deepest and continues to dig new levels, I don't think any of us can be heroes especially someone who can't just pick a side. Its silly if he thinks that. We all just laugh thats all that matters here.

He realized if he stops giving Phil money he'll be forgotten and no one will pay attention to him anymore. Reading Shiro's summary of him, it was obvious he'd be back in a couple days. He has literally nothing else but Phil's chat and us talking about him. Only way to keep that going is by keeping Phil afloat.
