You know I heard some stories about Chuck Huber being a huge troll with the fanbase he has and likes to mess with stupid people.
What if all of his anti-vax, flat-earther theories, and 9-11 conspiracies are just done to piss off KickVic?

What if Huber is a huge troll and is doing this to bring out stupid people. I mean his posts did bring out Shane the shoe eater.

Just how severe is the autism? He takes pictures of the anime he watches on TV and then tweets them and a synopsis of what happened in the episode to the voice actors. Which ones you may ask? All of them. There are thousands of these types of tweets.

He has such crippling autism and yet thousand-dollar security can't contain him.

I used to volunteer for A-Kon and I remember hearing about this but only as a rumor from other volunteers. We banned and removed attendees for less, yelling in a guest's face and making them feel unsafe would have ensured you didn't come back. He says they had to hire private security for thousands, who still failed to do their job, just for one convention attendee? Maybe the con security was too busy grooming kids?
Maybe Shane was drunk and grooming kids? We know the former was definitely a problem, and it got him shitcanned.

But seriously, now that you mention it, it is weird that they would know this person is a problem, and yet keep letting him in. Cons are private events. Attendees have no elaborate due process rights when it comes to them being there. If the staff wants you gone, you're gone. You pull their badge, and call the cops to have them trespassed off the property if they refuse to leave.

The only time I have ever heard of a convention hiring outside security was when I learned that Otakon hires (or, at least at the time) armed guards from an armored car company (i.e. Brinks) to pick up the significant amount of cash they collect. That's reasonable, IMO. Businesses that deal in a lot of cash do that all the time.

I mean, I'd like to say A-Kon is dumb if they did any of this, but I find it more reasonable to just presume Shane is full of shit. He's once again claiming something in an attempt to make him look saintly, but his former convention look bad. Glug glug, Shane. Eat a shoe.

I would also think that security service would cost more then what the Con makes in that time frame they're open. Easier and cheaper to just remove his pass and ban him from future events.

I'm sure @Not A Bug or @Captain Manning would like give their input on @Shane_Yes_That_One's claims.
Spend one day off of the internet and look what it gets me.

There have been a couple of guests on the spectrum that presented unique problems but weren't the cause of private security. One in particular comes to mind but details about how he was handled would probably expose me.

So I'll leave it with this, neither he (nor any other misbehaving guest) was ever granted free admission. One was worked with and corrected himself but lost it again and was banned.

The "thousands" in private security was not to address this guy or any other particular problem guest. A personal protection company was hired to transport/escort guests and/or escort cash boxes. This decision was made because of general intelligence [there are some "professionals" planning for these things] indicating problems may occur. This was in 2016. Their presence encouraged bigger guests and for that reason and general safety enhancements, I believe A-Kon continues to hire this company or one like it.

I don't know how A-Kon came up and I'll probably need a TL;DR to catch up but @Shane_Yes_That_One was correct that a private security was hired but it sounds like he has forgotten why or wasn't in on the conversations leading up to it.

Probably best at this point to just address questions since I'll just ramble otherwise.

Added in Edit: Hey Cap, glad to see you back in the fray.

"I knew this guy had a prior history of harassing and stalking Terri months before the con. I let him come anyway and there was another incident, but the one who needs to apologize is Chuck because he obviously didn't know all the facts like I did."

Some Change the Channel alums are commenting (Nash, LittleKuriboh) and I loved this response. She really doesn't get that this makes Shane look bad, not Chuck.

Again, cash boxes makes perfect sense.

Dunno about guest escort, but if you had a credible reason, sure.

Thanks for chiming in on this. Good to know Shane is still a lying faggot.

Alcohol can do that.

A-kon will forever be relevant for Shane because he'll never achieve anything greater. For him, it's like All Bundy's four touchdowns at Polk High.

"Why did he start that behavior?"
"Probably for an idiotic reason."
