Must Carthage really be destroyed?

When I visited Rome a few years ago, I was told all their fountains were sourced from the ancient aqueducts, so were generally good to drink. After indulging in said fountain water, I felt invigorated and empowered, BUT I had this strange urge to invade Carthage...

So yes, Carthage belongs to Rome and if Romans want to destroy it, than it shall be destroyed.

My fellow Romans, if we do not import more Carthinigans to Rome, then our civilization will not survive.

Carthagephobia is hate speech and diversity is our strength.

Hannibal leading an army of elephants to Rome is simply Alt-Rome propaganda and misinformation
Just a reminder that, while the Renaissance is commonly interpreted as a progressive upswelling, almost nothing in the Renaissance was "new"; it was a slow rediscovery, by late medieval Europeans, of the beliefs and culture of their distant past.

In shitpost veritas.

Carthage is a nice place to visit. Wouldn't want to live there though.
It’ll be nicer once the sacrifices stop. They’re not civilized, they’re monsters that have to be opposed at all costs. Anyone that sacrifices children should be utterly destroyed.
