Close, but no. Those Detroit Threat Management guys used to go by "VIPERS Academy" and had a bunch of retarded gun training videos on youtube, sadly they got pulled. They were VODA Consulting levels of retarded.
I found one of their old "martial arts" videos, though.

there's an amazing amount of these guys both on and off the internet. it's sad how much business they're able to generate from people who get sticker shock at "all expenses included" training from professional with experience in the defense and private security industry. i have encountered way too many of them over the years.

this isn't even getting into the more legit people (Surefox lmao) that were and are high profile security services, but have serious internal structure issues stemming from old habits and insulation from the civvie world of competition.

imagine pulling security and being told that you can't have the lights off in your guard shack on a night watch so you can see out into the field. better to be blind and handle parking tickets than actually control your AOR, obviously. not like being lit up is even a deterrent for thieves or whatever since they can see into your booth but you can barely see out of it.

i knew i've seen a video about those chucklefucks before

Their old videos are privated and sadly I didn't remember to go back and fetch them when I wised up to have an "archive everything" mindset, but they're lulz worthy enough that the rolling gif still gets posted sometimes. All these videos had them using some kind of meme weapon (massive scope on carry handle on the AR on this one), the camera guy saying something along the lines of "Viper 1-1, present arms" and the shooter going "Online, sir!" as a way to acknowledge the command as if they're Van Damme in Universal Soldier. Camera guy tells him to go through the shooting stances, he starts off standing, drops into a wide & deep squat shitting position, lowers one knee for the regular kneeling position, then drops the other for a double-knee dicksucking stance, goes prone, then starts fucking rolling on the grass while shooting. Then does the opposite steps to go back into the standing position. While an airsoft smoke grenade is smoldering in the background. Absolute glory days of the internet.

A couple guys I knew were in that, used to be in my company GSE & battalion S4 shops before heading to 4ID.
I talked to one a few years later after randomly running into him at the old range, and he admitted to not being the first Ft. Hood survivor who bought a 5.7; and bought his not for the performance, but the capacity.
I can see that appeal. You could get an 18rd magazine for a Beretta 92, with a +2 extension, and that's pretty good, but the Five Seven still holds 20 flush, and I've seen 30rd magazines which don't protrude that much.

NYSP had them too I think but also got rid of them. I'm not really sure who asked to give the .40 S&W treatment to .45 ACP but whoever it was didn't hold on to them for long.
I guess "It's smaller, but still hits like a .45!" sounds kinda good, but then they get them, notice the difference isn't actually that big, and realize a slightly smaller gun isn't worth the logistical bottleneck.

HOLY SHIT.... blast from the past. I knew I'd seen those guys in the wild before, back when they were still VIPER, circa '98-'00.

I wasn't even thinking about this when the memory popped back up; I was talking to my wife about going to the 90's warehouse parties & clubs, and then it hit me. My friends & I ran into them late-night/early morning at a gas station, probably around Mack & Bellevue or near Jefferson Ave. I think we were killing time before a venue opened, and it was the only place we could find that actually let people inside after dark.

So these guys were wearing matching berets & VIPER t-shirts, fingerless gloves, SWAT-style uniform trousers bloused into cop boots, etc. Back then I thought they were some sort of hood bikers or vigilante crew, and was surprised we didn't get told to gtfo of their AO. But we didn't stick around to find out otherwise, either.

In retrospect, they probably figured we were nutty enough to not worry about or bother with, being who & where we were, doing what we were doing.

In possibly one of his most autistic moves to date, Paul Harrell films a video talking about what to do about mass shooters in a grocery store...while he stands in a grocery store, with shoppers walking by him.
You make it sound like he started shooting shit for penetration testing in the middle of the store. That intro was pretty short, and as far as youtubers doing stupid shit in grocery stores it barely even registers on the scale.

On the other hand, the subject matter is incredibly autistic to begin with. But it's Paul Harrell, if you're not there for the autism, you're not there at all.

ETA: anyone else get the feeling all these groceries he shot cost only slightly more than the bullets he put through them?

He'd probably hate it solely because a devout white man designed it lol.

While he dresses up in SS/Wehrmacht gear for range day.
If I remember right it's mainly because the magazines don't drop free and lol7/8/9rounds from his gamer mindset. Though he likes to prop it up as slaying a sacred cow.

EDIT: Found the video
