DeSantis is really going against the grain, of the industrial political complex, on this one.

"Industrial political complex", I like that term, it fit well the current bureaucratic and political structure.

But then the QR app suddenly broke down. It can only handle 25 people logging in per second. Some had to turn around and go home.
Next day, they are accusing the unvaxxed of deploying a DDos attack on the app. They have no proof for this. The severs were literally not capable to allow so many people getting scanned at once.

With the diary thing, you've probably already thought of this. But make sure you write in different styles if you can - tense your hand for some, be chill for other entries. Different pens. Drip salt water on the pages on extra-awful entries for additional authenticity.

In Victoria workers comp runs on a completely no fault basis. I just have to demonstrate that my employer contributed to my mental health issues lol. I've submitted three workplace incident reports about how I've been bullied. I was offered counselling a couple of weeks ago with an appointment date the end of next month (because of Covid there's a long wait). I've made sure that the reports have nothing to do with the vax and I haven't refused to get the vax, I've just ignored about the 1 billion emails they've sent.

The last thing I'd ever expect to be doing is to fake a mental health issue to get a workers comp pay out, but you know what? Fuck em.

They didn't have to bring in a mandate they've chosen to.

As for how I'll be spending my spare time? I'll be home schooling my kids. Chairman Dan has started intimating that vaccination will be mandatory for school attendance. No idea what I'm doing but looking at the lesson plans the schools have been sending during lockdown I'm confident I can do a lot better.

Honestly, I think at this point, in places like the UK, Canada, USA, Aus, NZ, and many, many others, sending your children to Government/State schools is tantamount to child abuse. They're no longer about teaching kids how to think and critique, and encouraging them to find their path in life. Their sole purpose is to indoctrinate, and create good little drones whose heads they can fill with the "right" beliefs, opinions and thoughts.

I can't find the pdf of the patent but there's a web page with the text.
This just looks like bonkers tech that gets patented all the time in the hopes that they can patent troll, and doesn't say anything about injectables. Let's say all the vaccinated have graphene oxide in their system. What would beaming them with energy do? It's either going to affect them, or use the body as a reflecting antenna. All that gets bounced back is stuff you beamed to them. You're not tracking anything, because 50-80% of the adults in the street are bouncing the waves back without adding any information to the signal.
Sometimes the stuff people come up with to explain the current events do not make sense. I don't know how big batches of vaccines are, but there's probably tens of thousands of people who get the same batch with no way to know which vial they got so there's nothing unique that can be assigned to each injection.

I've honestly no idea on it. I've heard people say similar, but they've never been able to cite any sources Which is frustrating, because it's fascinating and terrifying in equal measure if it is. Have just been watching the mens road cycling world championships, in Belgium. Anyone who saw all 268km of it will tell you how many spectators were out watching and having a great time in the sun. I would not be at all shocked if there was 1/2 a million people out, along the route. In the town of Lueven, where the finishing circuits took place, i reckon half of the total were there.
There will be vids on the tube for the last lap, or so, to give you an idea and highlights and full length repeats are available on sports providers. It is worth a watch especially if you are an Australian who hasn't been allowed to go to the beach, on your own!

I expect the mask lovers are fucking foaming at the mouth. I also expect a sudden ramp up in testing to produce higher case numbers that some belgian politicians can use.

Happy day in France. An acquaintance visiting from Korea, a medical professional no less, came over for a visit today, and I was braced for a request to mask in my own house, a vax lecture, the whole nine yards. It is very possible to find some not-quite-up-to-date teacher education textbooks that can give you the information in curriculum and pedagogy you would have learned if you'd taken a teacher training course.

Look up some syllabi from your favorite teacher education program near you, and see what books they're using to teach the future teachers.

You'll learn that about 70% of any of these books is dedicated to "inclusiveness" of one sort or another, plus classroom management and discipline. But there's some wheat amid the chaff if you're looking carefully (especially in math and reading education), and once you read a few of these you won't feel like you've deprived your child of the benefit of a teacher trained according to the teacher education norms of your time and place. Sam Wineburg's Thinking Like a Historian is a great primer for teaching history in a way that will inspire critical thinking about sources.

It was always my intent to "best of both worlds" my kids with a hybrid homeschool/regular school situation, doing regular school for band and chorus and art, stuff that wouldn't be so easy to teach with the experience and equipment we had here. But the schools have now become, on an average day, the Kafka-esque authoritarian hellscape that it only seemed to be once in a while back when I was in school in the late Jurassic. My biggest question is what the fuck to do about them post-secondary, because I've got a herd of highly academic STEM-heads who won't be happy if their day-to-day doesn't involve a lot more theoretical education past high school, but most universities are buying in hard to the pandemic aesthetic.

The only university I know that is actively pushing back against the madness is Hillsdale. There may be more, but Hillsdale has a significant online presence as well that makes them stand out more.

Yes. They're also super anal about OSHA. In Spring 2020, pretty much every employee wore their masks around their chin for the entire shift. Then OSHA came around for inspections and managers became mask nazis. I heard OSHA fined corporate for every single mask infraction, even if it was just an employee with it under their nose. Since then it's been nothing but bullshit.

I finally know someone who got the coof bad enough to go to the hospital. It's my mother in law. Im not surprised because this woman has lived a horrible life and has taken 0 care of herself. She spent her ENTIRE LIFE ignoring her kids and being an unironic junkie hooker/stripper. My husband has memories of being brought to the strip club during her shifts and being looked after by other strippers. She's a bad mother and horrible person. Now that she's in her 50s, she decided to get clean pretend she never was a total homeless addict POS. Fucking annoying and she hasn't apologized to her kids for anything. Apparently she's fine and was discharged despite having pneumonia. I ain't giving her any medical advice because she probably doesn't need it, her body is fully pickled and preserved from a lifetime of drugs and she'll probably live to be 100. The worst ones always do.

Even without the indoctrination part of it, schools for decades have been teaching kids that independent thought is wrong.

Not even just in the classic "write down the things you think the teacher wants to see" way. But literally, common core math for example, if you found the right answer in the "wrong way", that counts as a wrong answer.

So any independent thought has been beaten out of kids for 16-18 years because it's not good enough to be right; they have to do it the right way or they get punished. Then they enter the workforce and employers are shocked that employees need their hands held and be told what to do. Well of course, you've spent 18 years telling kids that any deviation will be punished; no shit they can't think for themselves in adulthood?
