We are kinda in a grey area in this thread where you ONA guys have been smart enough to not cop to anything specific, but offsite trolling is really frowned upon here. I think this threads been treated pretty leniently since this josiah munoz thing started tbh. That being said I still appreciate the ride, and it seems like a good stock of kiwi here do too.

Featured threads end up sucking for ten to twenty pages anyways.

Only time I can think when trolling was featured was to laugh at the trolls and those trolls targeted Chris-Chan.

Patrick made a complete ass of himself but it's something that's only particularly funny to people who already know who he is and get that extra kick out of seeing him squirm more. He's not as much of a known personality sitewide as Ralph or King Cobra. This freak out feels significant to people in this thread (though even some here point out how it doesn't really offer anything new) but I think anyone out of the loop clicking on it from Happenings not knowing who he is will just turn it off after 2 minutes wondering what the big revelation or gotcha in the thing is.

It could be Null not liking it because it's too close to trolling but I doubt it. It's just a phone call of two guys going nuh uh ya huh back and forth and repeating themselves for 30 minutes.
Apostlegate with a more concise entry point might fare better in appealing to more people and then maybe getting interest in Pat to branch out of there. But just compare the posts and views of this thread to Ralph or Cobra and it makes more sense.

For me Apostlegate is less about Pat's freakout (although it certainly is funny), and more about the fact that a worldwide news network was about to run a series of articles on a non-existent right-wing trolling network, all based on the word of someone providing fake info as a mole. Pat had tried to label it 'Gamergate 2.0' in the tapes, was actually writing scripts for Hollywood about his battles with the trolls, and was either planning or writing a book about it. He really thought he would become world famous for his efforts.

I think it's worth mentioning that 95% of people on onaforums don't fuck with Rick in any way. Most just laugh at his ludicrous behavior.

This has been his problem right from the start - he interprets a few people directly fucking with him as an entire community that he needs to go to war with. It was just one guy who brought him to the attention of the subreddit back in 2018. He then decided that meant he needed to defeat the entire subreddit and gloat about it on Twitter. He's instigated all of this right from the beginning but simultaneously wants to take zero responsibility and claim victim status.

Cut to 2021 - he's $100K+ deep into a lawsuit that's accomplished literally nothing for him, he's not identified a single person or made anyone face any consequences and he's still responding to everything daily on Twitter. He's truly insane.
