"Current year" terms that piss you off

Recently, journoscum have started using the term "Big Lie" in regards to the (reasonably founded) claims that the 2020 election might have been stolen. It really makes my skin crawl hearing the term used as if a few people saying that things don't add up is a big lie, while the entire media apparatus asserting the incredulous claim that 2020 was the "most free and fair election in history" isn't.

It's mostly comical because in the weeks leading up to election day, they were barking about the orange man fixing the election and how illegitimate it would be.

What the fuck does it and "neurotypical" even mean, anyway? It just seems to be another obnoxious way to say "look at me, I'm special"!

It makes it sound like it's normal to be mentally handicapped or mentally ill. It's not.
I've always seen these terms as cute euphemisms to mental health without explicitly mentioning "mental health". I've only seen it used unironically by lolcows followed on this site or SJWs.

If anything, these terms do nothing to address the current stigmas and misconceptions associated with mental health issues and may even do more to further those stigmas and misconceptions.

It was something to see how these people were bouncing and squeaking over the likelihood of Russian interference until Biden won. then the narrative was that this was the most secure election ever.

Furthermore, these were the likely same people claiming that the 2016 election was fixed because their own candidate lost. I'm sure many of us remember their buzzphrases that included "not my president" and "it was her turn."

"Scary."

Nobody old enough to use real scissors has any business using that word.

theres this girl im tryna fuck and sometimes when i say something she agrees with she'll respond with "thats so valid tbh"

is it worth it bros? should i just choose to be gay instead?

This may come off as moralfagging, but I don't mean it that way-- life is too short for stupid sluts. Just beat your meat, and take that time wasted talking to women and use it to go to the gym, read a book, play a video game, smoke a tenderloin-- ANYTHING that will actually improve the quality of your life.

Women are only worth your time if they're marriage material. Chasing skanks is how you end up either married to a cunt, or the old guy at the college bar. Don't put pussy on a pedestal.

I know this has been said but "community" when referring to things that aren't communities. "The autistic community" WTF I'm an aspi and I didn't know we had our own community
I have learned to never associate with other autists unless I absolutely have to

"I'm a slut for *insert yaoi pairing here* drinking milkshakes together."
It was funny in 2015 to say you're a slut for something fandom related. Now it's just weird. Might just be me getting old. Anyone up for some Quake and Monster Ultra Zero?

Neurodivergent seems to almost exclusively be used by people who either just have mild neurological problems like ADHD or are completely normal but want attention. I'd almost be fine with the term if it wasn't a red flag that someone's IEP, at most, included needing extra time during tests.
