My bet the farms will get axed before 4chan. With the influx of cancer, journalist, shills, bots and feds to the website, it has mostly been defanged with the occasional hint of the old days.

Yeah, that's partly what I meant with unable to handle anything approaching mainstream attention, particularly around the gamergate period. 'Coordination' in the sense of something more nefarious I do think started in 2017 after the election. The FBI was dumb enough to get caught doing it - and whaddayaknow - the were shilling for neocon sounding russia russia russia talking points, but it is increasingly hard to separate those from just the general declining quality.

Gamergate was one big blow towards the decline of 4chan people aginst gamergate flooded the boards and the people for it left to other places to discuss. Also, I have noticed a lot of shills, I normally on /tv/ I usually see new things bad when it comes out with hundreds of replies then a week later multiple treads saying new thing good.

Haven't been on /v/ in a long time. /g/ is shit but has it uses (IE things like Twitch leaks), unless your into programing or whatever it's just just as spammed with unfunny retards, like most of 4chan. Can't even imagine how awful /v/ must be now.
