I would argue it comes down to if Twtich will let him back into Affiliate. Remember the date is 20th October IIRC. If Phil'S aplly for Affiliate goes through he might be looking at slightly better times (though I would wager that his Youtube members would simply quit their subscription and move back to Twitch) Of course it would make him look like a toital hypocrite but that is something he will sinmply dismiss and carry on. The greed is stronger then his ego. Plus he can't continue with his big boy lifestyle if the money well dries out.

is it my imagination or just these tips/cheers just come through when I just happen to be paying attention but is he getting an unusual amount of tips/cheers asking him "funny you would mention that" questions? It reminds me of when certain "shock jock" radio hosts would sarcastically segway into comedian's plugs or when someone like Linus of Linus TechTips segways into a sponsor reads.

Phil is curiously invulnerable like that, as if he internalized the lesson of “what people think about you only matters if you care about them” and instead of walking his own path he used it as rationale for openly begging and lying to his audience and never washing his balls. Whatever his definition is of success and living right it’s both malleable enough to cover everything he does and unknown enough to everyone else that he can never be called on it.

I still can’t figure out what if anything consistently gets under his skin. It seems to change from day to day without any rationale. Maybe it’s some less visible factor, like how much gin he’s had or how hungover he is.
