They are all fashy types, who are nearly all atheists, or neo-pagan larpers - they have abandoned and even scorn Christianity. Sexual degeneracy is really common in the neo-nazi circles (as KF threads for them can attest to). I see the pro-tranny stuff as just a side effect of that.

The seemingly weird acceptance of troons in Iran started making sense to me when I watched one of those "what does X think about Y" videos and the Middle-Easterners kept consistently calling trannies eunuchs.

There's a historical precedent for that in Islamic culture in the form of "mukhannathun". I think it was way more of an Arab thing than a Persian thing, but obviously they've inherited a lot of Arab stuff from Islam. Basically like most third genders it was basically just effeminate men (the name translates somewhat like "the effeminate ones" or "the ones who are like women").

A lot of schools of Islam are very much not cool with it, but there's a range of takes on it. Islamic jurist Al-Shawkani's Nayl al-Auta highlights how the Sahih al-Bukhari hadiths by Ibn Abbas argue there's two types. This is going to be mangled because I have basically no grasp of Arabic and Google translate is not great but, paraphrasing from a few sources (Kiwis who can actually do Arabic please see here for one) :

The first: The effeminate by character. He who is in his speech and gestures is soft, and is not known for any of his bad deeds, is not considered an immoral, and is not included in the slander and curse in the hadiths. That's another thing I don't get: why would any atheists tolerate a minute of gender fuckery? May as well call it gender theology. At the root of it is the claim that people have some sort of innate gendered self (i.e. a soul) that swirls around in the brain separate from our sex, presented with zero evidence, versus the pretty solid evidence that it's just mental illness.

Ironically I don't even think a lot of coomers and assorted freaks factor into that debate, because a lot of them just seem like opportunists with no dysphoria to speak of, except maybe "I'm a loser and wish I wasn't" dysphoria. This implies that even half of ftms look like real men, which I don't think is remotely true. Anyone who reads this thread should know that online pictures are usually carefully selected, and even the most "unclockable" ftm is going to look like a beanpole little boy or weirdly curvy "man" next to an actual man, similar to how even more "passing" mtfs (like Hontra...the bar is low) look like men next to actual women.
