I can understand the desire to simplify gaming to a console, it just makes life easier. But building a PC is super freaking easy to do. I forced myself to learn it after getting jerked around by Dell prebuilts in the early 2000's. And back then, i had to teach myself with a freaking magazine explaining the process. Nowadays, between YouTube, websites like PCPartPicker to make sure everything works correctly, and the 'availability' of computer parts online (normally), building a PC is easier than it's ever been.
