and I thought I was out of place for thinking this. Heard her sing, it was ayt and it was nice. Still lacks quality timbre (we call it too free/ "unformed"), and has a style like John Legend (droopy).

When you're in character and try to sing with that voice, it really does ruin the tonal quality of it so yes, chicken voice is shit but keeki voice is nice.

I'd still say she's one of the better EN singers though. Not too far behind Gura and IRyS towards the top with Ame and Fauna at the bottom. The rest are kinda in-between. Subjective though, clearly.

Edit: Do we count Keeki here? I think she sounds bad singing with her chicken voice but she sounds good when she doesn't.

I'd say Kiara and Calli are up there as well. Baelz also has potential.

Ok, credit when credit's due. She's pretty good. Could be amazing with training. Definitely among the better singer of HoloEN. Not too far behind IRyS who's a semi-pro singer with more than ten years of experience tho? Nah.

I think Gura is objectively a better singer, but the more the merrier when it comes to good singers in HL. Then again i actually like the bad singers too, they all have a charm to them.

Man, I wish every 3d event looked as smooth as the footage from this angle, though I guess it has to do with the fact that a fixed perspective is much easier to track for the equipment/software?

Them's fightin' words kiwifeller. Honestly though, her rendition of Young and Beautiful makes me optimistic about where she could end up in even just 6 months. I also wonder if her voice acting background would help her pick up stuff faster if she ever took singing lessons or if it's a case of her skills having hit a sort of ceiling and progressing beyond that will take a while.

I feel Mumei needs better equipment and soundproofing/moving somewhere else for us to make a more accurate assessment of her ability. Though, as quite a few others, I'm already biased and like her singing voice.

Her equipment sounds like Rushia's mic when reverb is on ngl, and maybe even soundproof as a start.

Liking her singing voice is one thing. Praising her performance when it objectively isn't up to par due to different reason like being nervous and shit.
And "if she learns and practices more she'll git gud". I mean, come on. That applies to almost all of new holos and whoever will be introduced next.

Gura is a special case and I'm very biased. She could properly do jazz/blues. That's kinda rare.

She has a decent quality in her voice, but the performance itself it not to par. I'm particularly not a fan of her Amy Winehouse esque style of singing where she slurs/droops the end of each line.

afaik, no. Either when you grab the torrent it has a description list or you go to youtube to find reuploads and maybe it has timestamps with the songs.
