General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

It might be a long shot, but is it feasible that Tenma could eventually reach out to collab with her beloved Holostars members? Roberu seems to pop up everywhere and Phase Connect's recent growth has been pretty impressive.

Also since Kanata's doing a karaoke stream I wanted to post this it's one of my favorite hololive streams ever.

Selen begged the Bloodhunt devs on twitter to have permission to play their game and they gave the entire company permission to play.

Selen found out on stream. Based on her words it seems that the tweet is enough to get the greenlight to play the game. No mention of contracts at all, which makes the process even weirder to me.

Can definitely happen. It's Winning Son, he already put his hands on every pie he gets so it's inevitable.

Tenma prolly need to just talk to him for the collab to happen.

what's up with these Pokemon card pulling streams? Did Pokemon release new packs or something?

EDIT: thanks local kiwibear

I ask mostly because if they gonna take the risk of accidentally facedoxxing themselves on stream, it shouldn't be for Pokemon cards. :story:
Pekora yesterday had a pokemon card stream. Lots of people came to watch, including other holomems, because Pekora went with her usual screaming antics. Those Holomems decided to stream one as well because they thought its fun

remember when it was all doom and gloom whenever a talent said they had an announcmenet but it was a long time away, and it was just fresh off Coco's graduation? Well, good news. Korone's announcement is it's a Birthday Festival.

That would be a nice idea for a stream. Collecting comments or messages and banning/blocking the weirdos live. It could easily backfire though.
I would pay serious money to see the girls reactions to some the deranged shit people say like the keeping track of menstrual cycles guy or the one that singled out audio of mori using the toilet

You see this happening with some Twitch Streamers. They will do "Ban Appeal" streams, where users will try to get unbanned for their previous behavior in chat. But some people have found it instead causes people to act dumber in anticipation of the ban appeal, for the memes.

During Fubuki's Pokemon card pulling stream (honestly not a huge Pokemon fan, but I like watching RL camera stuff) she pulled what I imagine is the rarest card in the set:

Not crazy or anything, but you'd be hard-pressed to find any under 500$ on Ebay. And considering she paid about 200$ for the two boxes and got 1 from the Pokemon Center for free, that's a pretty nice win.
makes me wish i bought more cards during my youth and not get half of them washed in the washing machine.

Wester game devs dont give a shit about permits, if a corpo ask nicely they will just give it to them, heck Devolver Digital has a website where you can print the permit, that is why Botan love to shill for them

Fuck yeah time to pop the beers for best doggo

And about Mumei, i found hilarious that no one has noticed the fact people had the exact same reaction when Ina did her first karaoke stream, almost word by word

the answer for why it's that simple should be obvious, it's a western developer.

Like Selen even says in the clip, western companies are usually more confused as to why they're being asked for permission. It's JP companies like Nintendo that are super anal about permissions (I think nintendo requires advanced notice ANY time someone is going to be streaming one of their games going beyond even just "permission")

That being said there still might be contracts involved, Selen didn't say she was going to go straight to streaming it, she said she'd pass it over to her manager, so if there's any background shit that needs to be done beyond that (like signing forms or whatever) that will happen now behind the scenes.
