If I may cross over into futuristic, imagination-land territory for a minute: If artificial wombs become a feasible option for gestating, do you think that would eliminate abortions entirely? Maybe women would be convinced to carry just long enough for the fetus to survive the transfer, and that way, even if the fetus dies in the process, at least an attempt was made to save it and the people involved won't be charged with murder. Asking for the sake of discussion, I know artificial wombs may not be possible.
