I don't think it is a "breeding ground" any more than any other website is when it comes to antifa. The group itself is the breeding ground, not the various websites. The Internet as a whole is actually a very effective pressure release valve when it comes to violent behavior. You can post some shit, talk a big game about owning the libs/bashing the fash, get it out of your system, and wake up the next day ready for your wage slave existence. But if you're regularly going to Antifa shit, you're going to eventually get suckered into thinking that violent behavior is somehow going to lead to accelerationism.

It worries me that people, who are aware that a virus is largely spread through particles expelled via symptoms such as coughing and sneezing, can read these 2 statements and go: "Yeah that makes sense", even though this is a forum that promotes a healthy dose of skepticism. Unless you literally meant "it does not lower transmission to absolute zero percent" in which case - no shit. No flu vaccine ever has, average reduction is around 88% for previous flu vaccines iirc.

Of course, if someone stands right in your face at a bar or concert, the lack of coughing and sneezing will be less relevant, but stating that there is no impact on transmission while also stating that vaccines reduce symptoms, is pretty dumb - no offense.

They're misunderstanding the CDC's statements but not entirely off-base. The CDC doesn't actually claim it eliminates symptoms, they claim only that you're less likely to go to the hospital for the symptoms you do get. By their own admission being vaccinated will still let you catch and get sick with COVID. You'll still cough and sneeze and your nasopharyngeal viral load is apparently exactly the same as a normal person, so you're likely to infect way more people because you're not laid up with it in bed like a normal person would be. You may even die of it at the same rate too (Pfizer's clinical trial showed no statistically significant reduction in the COVID fatality rate).

All in all it's a pretty bad deal to be getting one of those jabs voluntarily, and not suited for mass use. Especially in the middle of the pandemic when it can influence the evolution of viral strains outside the standard trend of active diseases getting less deadly as time passes.
