Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Speaking of pissing me off. A mystery was solved recently and I -still- refuse to not be pissed about it.

Does anybody remember me going on for a bit about not knowing who the Admin was using for their political analysis, but knowing they had someone? I pointed out it was pulling from none of the traditional firms or any pet firms that got brought up with them. These fuckers are using -CNN- for their political analysis. Which explains why CNN is being torn down right about now with multiple lawsuits allowed to go through. But -Jesus fucking Christ-.

Wait, so CNN is doing what you do for the administration?

Make less profit.

This always annoys me when I see the line of thinking "we can't increase minimum wage because companies will charge and more and increase inflation!!". Instead of being a corporate cock-sucker, we could limit the profit that companies could make. Does Amazon need 1 trillion dollars? How about 500 Billion (still an incredible amount of money) and the other 500 billion is spread between the work force?

Amazon is an expensive logistics nightmare. Limiting profit limits the amount of return shareholders get on their investments. How about instead we give tax credits based on paying US citizen workers, buying American goods as a priority, or something of that nature. Use taxes as a guide instead of a cudgel.

What do the morons in charge think is going to happen? They cant delay this shit forever. The more they hassle them the worse its going to effect their image. It's transparent bullshit.

That is a logical assumption at face value, but I think there's more to it.

I've covered culture war events for some time, and a unifying principle is that the people who are pulling strings are almost always - to a man - convinced that they are in no real danger and rarely make any attempt to disguise what they're doing in the slightest. When they do, they do it badly and with basically no onboarding process whatsoever.

At first I thought this was an isolated occurrence, but then during 2016 I saw high-ranking members of the DNC doing it, to say nothing of elected political officials and power-brokers. Shit like the the Great Reset was shit they just.... Left out in the open. The Hunter Biden laptop incident happened because he fucking left it at a repair shop despite ostensibly being able to pay for it and knowing what the fuck was on it.

It's some quirk with certain people with a modicum of power. They start thinking they're invincible and don't even bother taking precautions.

And god bless it, for all our sakes.
I hate to sound like a shill for the show, but a simple quote from Black Sails stuck to me, which I've also been unfortunate enough to witness personally, that I feel encapsulates this failing perfectly in its end result:

"You've never seen a mob *turn*, have you? Funny thing about it, the people that are the least concerned about the possibility of it happening? They're the ones most responsible for making it happen in the first place."

I'd ask if this is a joke, but I know it's not.
The Blue States can do this all they like; it just gives people more reason to point and laugh at them.

Also -correct me if I'm wrong- this would be a slow killer of those tech companies. The competent employees will either get fired or quit because that shit isn't worth it, so they'll hire the idiots who will follow their doctrine.
No, you are correct. I still say master when talking to customers because the Midwest does not care about this and fuck the useless SF diversity hires who pushed this. Guess who is a revenue generating employee and who is not? I will do what I want lol

We are absolutely seeing an exodus of competent employees too and the replacements are shadows of their predecessors. It is painful to watch.

For NJ, Phil Murphy is cutting ads saying out loud that they "want to be the California of the east US" something only 30% of Jersyians agree with and saying ads where "we are not doing tax reform, we are not your state if you want low taxes". Also, the polls are showing it within 5%.
I swear Murphy's only Governor because of Bridgegate and Christie selling the reminder of his lard-encrusted soul to the GOPe; went from King of New Jersey to a think-tank strategist. Rest in piss, dipshit.

Murphy, unlike some of his Democratic compatriots, didn't come into office [''17 or '18] with a landslide vote during the Trump era. He's not popular in NJ, generally. His main draw is from the one county or so where most of NJ elite are consolidated and vote as you would expect.

He's also part of the Big 5 (see: Cuomo, Andrew; Newsom, Gavin; Whitmer, Gretchen; and Wolf, Tom) who kept pumping the COVID numbers in 2020.

No hope for Jack Ciattarelli, but between Murphy and Hochul, I can't tell who's more delusional. Seriously, where's his head? New York is the east coast's California to anyone with a set of eyes.

Looking at the NJ and VA gov elections has been weird.

Edit: lol at last night's debate.

Virginia is coming from a controversial Democratic governor to McAllife being a terrible campaigner and debater, while Youngkin is consolidating his base while sweeping up in the blue north of the state. The state has trended 4% more Republican since the 2020 election. Also within 5% right now.

Both are litmus tests for how shitty Democrat candidates can run without losing in each or their fortification methods.
New Jersey polls showing it within 5% surprises me considering how blue they are. This should be interesting with the Virginia and possibly New Jersey governor elections. Newsom staying made since because he is related to Pelosi and dems already lost one golden boy with Cuomo. That they were making sure they didn't lose their other one. Hence they made sure with every power in their body he stayed.

But these ones I honestly don't know. I mean for Virginia you have gun right and CTRT (which is dislike by many parents in the northern part. The part that makes the state blue in the first place). The fact that dems are telling parents they have no say in what their kids should learn is not doing any favors for them and will continue so if they keep pitching it.

How much did he win by? You say it wasn't a landslide like alot of other Dem governors in blue states. How much?

“This is about the fact that your voice, your perspective, your truth should not be suppressed.”

There we go again, with that “your/hEr” truth bullshit. The truth is not meant to be a subjective thing, it is final and unarguable. With these semantical gymnastics, she’s walking on eggshells and basically saying that this dumbass SJW’s speech should not be suppressed (*which in itself is fine- I don’t support censoring anyone), yet gives a sense of legitimacy to the girl’s talking points. Could be out of actual agreement, or just a political need to virtue signal and let the autists feel that they’re bEinG HEaRd, hoping that’ll translate into votes.

Either way, she’s a detestable cunt nugget and she and her ilk deserve to be absolutely pummeled into oblivion (during a face-off in 1990s computer video games, of course).

Imagine trying to fulfill the "Obama agenda" with both a split Senate and narrowly divided House, and JOE FREAKING BIDEN at the helm.
I'm reminded of a leak a few weeks ago that Biden wanted to call Obama for advice on the Afghanistan fuckup and his handlers prevented him from doing so.

So Obama wants NOTHING to do with this mess.... or Joe's handlers don't want him talking to someone outside of their cabal who might start influencing him / realize how bad he's become.

Can you blame Obama?

Twas a blowout indeed, but underlying factor was "Fuck Christie," and for good reason too. Who knows why they ran his Lt. Governor?

Now this was a romp, Chicago ballot churning be damned. Cuomo swept '18 without regard for anything upstate, besides the usual blue.
