What surprises me is how he's clinging to optimism in spite of losing the one thing he cares about: material goods. There's no video games or transformers in prison but he's still holding on to his larp, like it'll help him. I don't genuinely believe Chris thinks himself a God or to have powers, (I think fapcop once pointed out despite thinking he's a god, he's never tried to rob a bank or jump off of a building like a genuine schizophrenic might), but if he doubles down, after confessing everything in a letter, he's just deprived himself for even longer. Weird thought today, how has Chris never fallen for a classic phishing scam? I don’t mean trolls impersonating people, of course, but your classic run of the mill email scam. I still don't think she's mentally aware enough to know that she was raped. Even if she's smart enough to recognize that there's something wrong with her body, and she was being forced, it's possible that she still wouldn't know how to act. Rape is about not just violence, but about taking away your life. A person can be violated, even if it's done with a loving touch, if the person is in such a state that she loses control, her own will, her own consciousness, and becomes just a thing to be used. That's how much of a violation she can be, and still not fully know she's been violated.

The thing with rape, it's not about violence or fear, it's about violation.
