It's so weird to me that TiMs can get away using the whole "transmisogyny" as of they didn't steal that from black feminists (misogynoir the concept that black women experience their own brand of misogyny that is a result of both being black females, except here, TiMs say they experience "transmisogyny" a misogyny based on their transness). Like, I'm sure that maybe TW do get treated less than once they transition to female presenting, but that's because of their effeminate presentation. "Those pregnant" and "pregnant people" sounds much more subtle than "men can get pregnant too!". Still stupid though.
I wonder if these things will ever get changed back to "women" or if this language is just part of the "new normal". I'm guessing the latter.

I suspect that one will stick. “Pregnant people” is pretty bland and standard. Feels less like a PC thing and more of a trick of language. Like using “they” as a singular. I’ve seen lots of people start to use this when they are unsure of a persons gender because they have always spoken via email and the gender of the name isn’t obvious. It’s not a PC thing, people just found it easier to say that than “he or she”.
now shit like “chest-feeding” and “people with cervixes” isn’t going to stick, because it doesn’t feel like an organic language change. It’s too jarring.

The whole goal of this gender debate is basically to turn people into flesh blobs, indifferent to one another. Statements like “pregnant person“ or “penis haver” is basically the first baby steps towards this bullshit, which is ironically more dehumanizing. Does anybody genuinely want to be seen as some dystopian sci fi experiment?

I found a reddit account that I'm 90% sure is a tranny, but was surprised to see no posting on trans related subreddits so I figured I'd come to the sages to ask for their opinions.
That pic on the left is fairly representative of what they look like in most pics, the pic in the middle is one of their worst ones, and the one on the right is one of their better ones (it's from a video where they are working very hard to maintain one specific angle while twirling around; it's uncanny). Over the last year this poster seems to have completely turned their account into a selfie-posting machine with a heavy dose of narcissism and attention-seeking.
So what do you guys think?
ETA: I don't necessarily think they're trans because of their appearance which, while not necessarily incriminating is at least ambiguous, but because of the way they post and the things they post which is basically all just selfies and DnD. I guess that they could just be a case of a genuine female narcissist who is just super into DnD (or at least the performative dice shit, I'm not sure that I've seen a single post about any other aspect of role-playing) and is willing to co-opt an identity (they are naturally blond but keep posting about being a redhead without mentioning that it's a dye job) but they just post like such a tranny except for the fact that they don't post about being trans. But I'm apparently in the minority here, the people have spoken.

Honestly, I'm not clear how (according to their logic) troonism isn't an intersex condition; it has a better claim than something like Kleinfelter's or hypospadias. If you believe that gender identity is a real and important part of the brain and that troonism is just a mismatch between your body's physical development and your gender identity's development then it's a DSD and those are definitely intersex conditions.

My absolute favorite thing is when any retarded highschooler or 1st year college student (19yr) calls themselves an engineer as if they have somehow earned that title by picking a BS degree or reading a few pop sci articles, these kind of people are always the biggest losers imaginable. The degree he titles himself with would require a PHD or masters to be of any use and multiple certifications. Big pet peeve of mine, I work with a lot of intelligent engineers in construction and none of them have this kind of arrogance. Dollars to doughnuts this supposed debate with his family was all in his head.
